We’d Have Better Schools If Boards Of Education Were Comprised Entirely of Ammo Dealers

More of this please. And shocker…this is not setting well with Democrats and their media allies.

Democratic lawmakers have centered their opposition on [Jordan Mollenhour’s] role in Lucky Gunner, a Tennessee-based online ammo dealer owned by Mollenhour Gross LLC. Some also questioned how his resume qualified him for the education role.

In my book, Mr. Mollenhour’s greatest qualification is that he is a conservative businessman who does not have an advanced degree in “Education.” His being an ammo dealer is just gravy on top.

The children of Tennessee would be much better served if school policies and curriculum were established by an entire board of ammo dealers, rather than letting “educators” determine how to teach indoctrinate our children.

National media and Tennessee newspapers have tried to make a big deal of this appointment being made “despite lawsuits over his company's sale of ammunition online.”

“Despite lawsuits...” Heh. There are few companies of any decent size that have not been sued repeatedly. Major corporations have entire legal teams to deal with all the nuisance lawsuits filed against them, which is a cost of doing business. The fact that the media has unified around the “despite lawsuits” theme shows they have nothing else with which to smear Mr. Mollenhour. The Education / Democrat / Media alliance is really upset about this appointment, which is enough for me to feel really good about it.

While We’re On The Subject of Choosing Those Who Administer Our Schools…

In a post of mine last week about electing conservatives to local school boards, I mentioned that too many conservatives who run for school board don’t provide info on their yard signs to let voters know they’re the conservative alternative to the culture warriors who control our schools. And for better or worse, yard signs are just about the only way voters get to know who the candidates are.

There were plenty of comments from readers who stated that they don’t vote in school board races for that exact reason – they may know the names of the candidates (from yard signs) but nothing else, and since most races are non-partisan, they do not want to vote for a leftist. Therefore, they don’t vote at all.

This was spotted in Murfreesboro, TN.

Funny and effective. I hope there is a conservative opponent in this race who is actually letting voters know that he or she would never impose Covid Sharia on the children of Rutherford County.

Covid Sharia At The NCAA Basketball Tournament

If you’ve tuned into the NCAA basketball tournament, you may have noticed that pretty much no one is wearing masks…except for the cheerleaders.

A few stories have been written trying to explain why – it somehow involves an organization called USA Cheer deferring to CDC guidance, or something or other.

All I know is this looks like sharia to me. Male players, coaches, and referees are all unmasked. Likewise, most every fan in the stands is unmasked. But the cheerleaders, who are mostly young women, must hide their faces behind masks.

And remember, the mask-obsessed always promoted the idea that masks must be worn to protect others from Covid. So these women are being masked to protect all the unmasked men around them.

Maybe we should just put burqas on the cheerleaders. It would send the same message.
