Patriot Games: The Incompetent, Immoral Overclass Continues Its Lunatic Bullying Of the Rest of the Country

Putin put his nuclear forces on highest alert. Toughboi Adam Kingzinger goes full Gen. Jack T. Ripper and says we should just call his bluff, quoting eminent nuclear war strategist Louise Mensch:

kinzingerandlouisemensch.png

If you don't know who Louise Mensch is, she is a pampered slattern who briefly had her own seat in Parliament because she had some name recognition (she was a chicklit "author") and her husband was rich. She had to resign it when it was discovered she was a drug abuser. She then came to America and began trafficking in the most unhinged and delusional of NeverTrump RussiaGate conspiracy theories. She claimed she had a SCOOP that Trump was already impeached as early as 2017 -- as soon as he was elected -- for being a Russian asset, and was informed of this by the "Marshal of the Supreme Court."

marshalofthesupremecourt.jpg

By the way, there is no "Marshal of the Supreme Court." The position doesn't exist. The post was simply hallucinated by this noisome self-admitted tweaker.

I guess her "sources" didn't bother to tell her that.

Here's what Wikipedia has to say about Mensch -- and you know that Wikipedia is usually very friendly towards left-leaning people:

Mensch and Heat Street have since courted controversy by promoting unverified claims, hoaxes, and conspiracy theories about the Trump administration and its ties to the Russian Federation.

Among other allegations she has posted online, Mensch claimed that she had obtained evidence that Russian president Vladimir Putin had American conservative commentator Andrew Breitbart, the founder of Breitbart News who died of a heart attack in 2012, murdered so his job would go to his deputy, Steve Bannon.

She has stated that the 2017 Istanbul nightclub shooting, which was perpetrated by Abdulkadir Masharipov on behalf of the terrorist organization Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, was a Russian false flag operation with Russia posing as ISIL.

She has stated that "Bannon and his team" were behind the 2017 Jewish Community Center bomb threats that were committed by two people, American Juan M. Thompson and Israeli-American Michael David Kadar, with no ties to Bannon.

She has claimed Russian intelligence planted inflammatory emails implicating former U.S. Senator and 2016 Democratic Party presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on disgraced former U.S. House member Anthony Weiner's computer.

Mensch has also, without evidence, accused numerous people, including Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and venture capitalist Peter Thiel, of being Russian "shills", "moles" and "agents of influence".

Buzzfeed called Mensch an "anti--Russian influence crusader" and one of a number of "anti-Trump public figures [who] share unreliable information".

Zack Beauchamp, a reporter for Vox who has written at length about Mensch, has said she was the equivalent of an Alex Jones of the right: "I would say the closest analog would be Infowars", he said.

But Adam Kinzinger sees her as a kindred spirit in #TheResistance, against both Trump and Putin.

The two show a growing closesness on Twitter. Wartime brings people together, you know.

Speaking of wartime, Zelensky is calling on all people who support Ukraine's freedom -- all people, no matter their age, sex, or weight -- to come to Ukraine to fight:

Screenshot (1624).png

Make sure you pass that on to all of the Keyboard Kommandoes shrieking that you're not TWEETING HARD ENOUGH about how much you support Ukraine. David Frum, Bill Kristol and all of the skinny femmes and/or disgusting fatbodies at The Bulwark, Jonah Goldberg, Steve Hayes, Meghan McCain, David French, Jennifer Rubin, AllahPundit, and all the rest of the gang will, I'm sure, want to know they will finally have the opportunity to fight in one of the many, many, many, many wars they are very passionate about, this time with no convenient excuses about why they can't personally attend.

So pass the good news on to them! I'm sure they'll be thrilled.

By the way, I'm actually very much against Putin and I'm not on board with the stronger arguments made for Putin, or against Ukraine.

However, I am very much committed, after about five years of the Neocon/Neoliberal Alliance deciding what beliefs the rest of us may have, and what the rest of us may say, that we will no longer allow ourselves to be bullied by a nasty, entitled fringe minority into coerced silence or coerced speech.

I do support Ukraine, but I don't particularly care all that much about it -- on a scale of 1 to 10, it's about a 4, and right now there are a lot of 7s, 8s, 9s, and 10s I'm much more concerned about -- and I will not be Shamed into putting up a Ukranian Flag on my Twitter profile because Meghan McCain has decided that this latest Groupthink Enforcement Effort is just So Totally Important You Guys.

We have been bullied about what we are permitted to say or believe about Trump, about Russiagate, about the election, about the January 6 "Insurrection," about BLM and George Floyd (they're all heroes and besides those businesses are insured), about covid, about masking, about vaccines, about myocarditis (it's a conspiracy theory oh wait now it's not a conspiracy theory, but it's a very minor risk you shouldn't be worried about), and on and on and on.

The same very small group of FUCKING AMORAL IDIOTS AND MENTALLY-ILL NEUROTICS AND CONTROL FREAK KARENS AND NEVERTRUMP PERVERTS has been telling the rest of us what we are allowed to think or say on every fucking issue of any public saliency for six fucking years and I am DONE with it.

And yes I would rather see Ukraine burn to the ground than for one second longer put up with this regime of endless bullying and thought control.

At some point, it must stop. IT MUST FUCKING STOP.

This Revolutionary Vanguard shrieks all day about authoritarianism and Putin while imposing authoritarianism and Putinism on their captive countrymen and then accuses us of "treason" and "supporting Putin" when we tell them to fuck off and leave us in peace for five minutes because we're free Americans and we own our own bodies and especially our own mouths and even more especially our own minds and that we do not take orders from them, because they are plainly not our superiors in any manner, in terms of position, education, morality, or intellect.

And yet they continue to bark orders.

This situation is no longer tolerable and will not be tolerated.

Amazing: Noted Respecter of Countries' Sovereignty Condoleeza Rice agrees that any invasion of a country is de facto a "war crime," presumably punishable, as war crimes are, by imprisonment or even hanging.

Even more amazingly, Jen Griffin, who is supposedly a "News" person, offers a stream of opinions for which she will face no sanction for, because they're the opinions of the neocon/neoliberal establishment.

One amazing opinion is that a former brigadier general's analysis of the war should be ignored because he's not a "military strategist." Jen Griffin, on the other hand, apparently is a military strategist, because she's a "Journalist" and "Journalists," as you know, are All-Purpose Experts Without Portfolio. They're just Omni-Geniuses who are instantly experts in any and all fields they ask a few questions about.

Remember, she's "spoken to people at the Pentagon" so she now knows all of the facts and she can "fact-check" everyone's speculations and opinions and is in fact so certain of these she feels comfortable labeling all opinions that diverge from those offered by her Pentagon buds "appeasement talk" offered by an "apologist for Putin."

Again, this is a "News" division person. Because she's a "News" division person, her opinions automatically become fact.

I find some of the vaccine takes and Putin takes to go too far, as some of you might know (and as some of you might find annoying).

What all of this has in common, of course, is that people have been lied to too often, too many times, about too many things, and are now in a mode of Rejectivism, where they dismiss out of hand the claims made by a Regime where lying has become a routine method of control over the population.

And simple, automatic Rejectivism is not an irrational response to a Regime that lies, or is completely 100% wrong, this often. If they lied only once in a while, or were wrong once in a while, I'd say automatic Rejectivism was an overreaction and a bad strategy, as it would usually result in the Rejectivist winding up on the wrong side of the truth.

But when the Regime is almost always lying or almost always wrong, just taking the opposite side without even thinking about it will put you on the right side of the truth 75%, 80% of the time.

Not bad for a simple, reflexive strategy.

Now, simple reflexive Rejectivism is still not the ideal strategy. The ideal strategy remains what it always is -- taking each claim on its own merits and evaluating it, without bias according to whoever said it.

But as far as rules of thumbs go -- at this point, assuming that the Regime is lying or incompetently stupid is as good a rule of thumb as any.

The Regime and its defenders -- the neocon/neoliberal alliance -- have lied to the public constantly for at least six years. Before that, they were catastrophically wrong about almost every major policy question for at least 20 years.

And now they bemoan the lack of trust by the public, and natter about an "information crisis," with "disinformation" (information not approved of by the Regime) competing with Regime-approved information.

Did they really think that years and years of lying, and years of incompetence and catastrophic failures, would have no consequences?

Do they really think that years of lying and incompetence and catastrophic failures should have no consequences?

This is a democracy -- are we not entitled to periodically offer our verdict on how The Ruling Class is ruling, and whether they should be allowed to continue, or be replaced?

Or is this not a democracy any more? Is the idea of a democracy "too dangerous" when that democracy begins contemplating sweeping The Ruling Class aside because of its constant lies and constant failures?
