The Quotes of The Day

Quote I

“Reaching a settlement in this case, which is more than a decade old, is in the best interest of our community and our shareholders and we’re glad to move past this issue,” Meta spokesperson Drew Pusateri

Move past? Well until the next lawsuit.

Quote II

“No one is so big, no one is so important they can’t be held accountable for their criminal conduct,” Prosecutor Brian Netols

Tell me that when Michael Byrd is charged with Ashli Babbit's murder.

Quote III

“I am really, really leery about sending the wrong message. Having this city close down again keeps me up at night, and the message was put in place, the rule was put in place, to start changing it now I think it would send mixed messages"NYC Mayor Eric Adams

You're an odious incompetent bureaucrat.

Quote IV

I believe that most people do not have an issue with black people being in a position of power Texas A&M coach Sydney Carter. I think they take issue with your clothing that looks like it was sprayed on and you could pass for a hooker.

A Texas A&M women's basketball assistant coach hit back after facing backlash for wearing pink leather pants and stilettos to a game.

'I'm unapologetically myself every day, I could care less if anybody thinks that I'm being extra,' Sydney Carter said in response to her critics. 'I'm not gonna turn up turn my light off because somebody else is offended or intimidated by the fact that I embrace myself.'

The 31-year-old Aggies assistant coach believes race plays a major factor in the criticism.

Before we close drive through conveniences. Pray tell what is the perfect temperature.

EVs aren’t enough! The UK must slash drive-throughs to save the environment
Farewell, cheeseburgers

Drive-throughs – services that let people order and collect food and drink without needing to leave their cars – are designed with convenience in mind. Whether it’s oppressively hot, uncomfortably cold, or we’re just in a hurry, drive-throughs have become very appealing in an era characterised by a desire for immediacy.

In the UK, where there are around 2,000 drive-throughs, it’s not unusual to see snaking queues of vehicles whose drivers are waiting for their turn to make, pay for, and collect their orders.

In fact, drive-throughs are on an upward trajectory in the UK. There was a 41% increase in the number of drive-throughs between 2015 and 2020, and 12% of sales at fast food restaurants and coffee chains were made through their drive-through sites in the year to March 2021: jumping 50% from pre-COVID figures.

An uphill battle. But a battle that must be waged.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) on Wednesday filed a lawsuit against President Joe Biden’s administration over federal rules that mandate mask-wearing in American airports and on airplanes.

“The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) mandate was unlawfully issued. It was not authorized by Congress, and the CDC did not put the mandate up for notice and comment, which is ordinarily required for regulations like this,” Paxton, Rep. Beth Van Duyne (R), and the Texas Public Policy Foundation, said in a statement. “Yet a person’s failure to comply with the Administration’s mask mandate carries criminal penalties.

Once again.........Bargain basement butt injections are prove costly.........

A 53-year-old woman was found dumped and deceased at a hospital with multiple butt injections early Tuesday, according to police.

Two women dropped the victim at Jacobi Medical Center in Bronx borough of New York City around 1.50am and claimed they had found her at Woodlawn Cemetery, cops said according to the New York Post.

The women claimed that the victim was in distress and in need of help and that was the reason they drove her to the hospital in their own vehicle, cops said.

After dumping the victim, the women reportedly drove off.

The next Villages of Flordia?

Disney has launched a new business for fans who can’t bear to leave the pristine, family-friendly world the corporation has nurtured through its theme parks and media ventures.

“Storyliving by Disney” will operate as part of the company’s theme parks division, developing a series of master-planned communities for residential living, designed by Disney’s creative staff and offering the same pampered tranquility found in its resorts.

DISNEY’S NEW PLANNED COMMUNITIES WILL BE AS PAMPERED AND PRISTINE AS ITS RESORTS
“Picture an energetic community with the warmth and charm of a small town and the beauty of a resort,” said Disney Parks, Experiences and Products exec Helen Pak in a promotional video.

Maybe the press should start doxing BLM donors who support a wannbe murderous thug.

The $100,000 cashiers check has been officially given to the clerks office to pay for @BLMLouisville activist Quintez Brown’s release. @LouCommBailFund is paying. Brown is accused of shooting at Louisville mayoral candidate @RunWithCraig.

Wouldn't that be satisfying?

Bureaucrats fired? Hmmm wonder what they are? Genius Award Winners.

BOSTON —
Four Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicle employees have been fired after the agency said it discovered approximately 2,100 drivers were granted licenses without having to take a road test.

An internal investigation by MassDOT and the RMV has determined that starting in April of 2018, approximately 2,100 customers were given road test passing scores by two road test examiners at the Brockton Service Center without taking the road test.

MassDOT said it first noticed suspicious activity regarding some customer accounts back in 2020 and launched a probe, enlisting the help of Massachusetts law enforcement.

"The RMV has terminated four employees involved in this matter and will continue to work with law enforcement on their ongoing investigation," MassDOT spokesperson Jacquelyn Goddard said.

Moar Genius!!!

A so-called faith healer in Pakistan convinced a pregnant woman that she would give birth to a baby boy if she had a metal nail hammered into her skull.

Doctors at the Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar were shocked when they examined the head of a pregnant woman who claimed to have a two-inch-long nail stuck in her skull. An X-ray confirmed the woman’s claim, but it was her story that really left hospital staff speechless. The woman explained that the nail in her head had been recommended by a faith healer who promised her that it would guarantee that she gives birth to her first son, rather than her fourth daughter.

Having 3 healthy daughters was all I wanted. If the Fabulous Mrs. Mis. Hum. and I wanted a boy we would borrow some nephews.

A very nice gesture. Tonight's Feel Good Story of The Day.

39-year-old Ashley Manning is a florist in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Last year, she started her "Valentine's Day Widow Outreach" by asking her followers on Instagram to send her names and addresses of widows so she could bring them flower arrangements.

She ended up delivering 121 arrangements, even though her goal was just 25.
