Now staff at the University of Northampton have issued a trigger warning for George Orwell’s novel on the grounds that it contains 'explicit material' which some students may find 'offensive and upsetting'.

The advice, revealed following a Freedom of Information request by The Mail on Sunday, has infuriated critics, who say it runs contrary to the themes in the book.

A university has added a trigger warning to its English course covering Harry Potter, telling students it could lead to "difficult conversations about gender, race, sexuality, class and identity".

The "Approaches to Literature" module at the University of Chester's English department has also offered undergraduates the opportunity to "get in touch" if they have "any issues with the content" of the course.

JK Rowling's Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is among the literary texts for the course, run by Dr Richard Leahy, a lecturer in English literature, alongside Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games and Philip Pullman's Northern Lights.

All three texts are considered either fantasy, dystopian or sci-fi young adult fiction, and feature either magical creatures or post-apocalyptic battles to the death between children.

The trigger warning tells students: "Although we are studying a selection of young adult texts on this module, the nature of the theories we apply to them can lead to some difficult conversations about gender, race, sexuality, class, and identity.

And what the hell are university students doing reading books that children read for laughs?

Zogby Analytics also looked at life under Biden, and the breakdown was similar, with more than not saying that Biden has made their life worse.

In fact, 44% say life is worse under Biden, with only 30% saying "better." Zogby spins that as some kind of win for Brandon. He says Democrats "may" need to distance themselves from Brandon.

Top Democratic candidates in Pennsylvania are missing President Biden's visit to the state on Friday.

Gubernatorial candidate Josh Shapiro (D), who is currently the state attorney general, and Senate candidate John Fetterman, who is currently the lieutenant governor, will both miss Biden's event in Pittsburgh where he will discuss infrastructure.

"It's great that President Biden is coming to Pittsburgh to talk about infrastructure. If infrastructure is Elvis, then Pittsburgh is Graceland. It's great to come to the city that helped build America to talk about rebuilding America," Fetterman said in a statement regarding the event.

However, Fetterman said he will be meeting with Democrats in Harrisburg to discuss the 2022 midterms and is unable to attend the event.

Shapiro's spokesperson said he had a scheduling conflict, although he did not elaborate, but emphasized that Shapiro appeared with Biden in other events in 2021.

"Josh Shapiro is running to be the governor of Pennsylvania and he's focused on the issues that matter to Pennsylvania families," a campaign spokesperson told The Hill in a statement.

"Like every American should, Josh wants our president to be successful and we'll continue welcoming President Biden to his home state of Pennsylvania," the statement added.

The news comes as other top Democrats have also skipped recent Biden visits to their state in the midterm election year.

Apparently Brandon freaked out on his phone call with Ukranian president Zelansky, pressuring him into concessions to Putin by threatening that a Russian invasion was "imminent" and that Kiev would be "sacked." The Ukranian president had to tell the freaking-out Biden to "calm down."

But the White House now denies this -- and CNN seems to be following suit. RedState says that while CNN originally filed a report on this, they now have deleted it.

But of course now, the leftwing propaganda media is not calling for the transcript. They want to participate in the cover-up.
