CNN Contributor: "The Single Biggest Misconception [About the Media] Is That We're Lying," or "Politically Biased"
Of course she made this claim on Tater's Human Centipede Buffet.
She further claimed the media's bias actually redounds to the favor of conservatives.
The two biggest misconceptions about the legacy media are "that we are lying" and that they manifest "political bias," according to CNN's "Reliable Sources." The media's bias actually benefits the people journalists are biased against, the show insisted.

"The single biggest misconception is that we are lying," guest Mara Schiavocampo told host Brian Stelter on Sunday's episode, which tackled alleged common myths about the state of American journalism.
"There is a lot of media mistrust," she said accurately. Schiavocampo said she frequently encounters media misconceptions "when I'm at a cocktail party."

Mistakes are "almost always innocent," Stelter said. Schiavocampo asserted, "We do not have malicious intent."

CNN continued enumerating the common lies and errors about the media, with Shiavocampo saying "another big" misconception about the legacy media is that reporters suffuse their coverage with their own "political bias." She said it seems "really ironic," but "journalists are aware of our own political bias," and so "we'll overcompensate to make sure the other side really gets a fair amount of coverage and really gets explained properly."
"So in my view, when we do have a political bias, it's the other view that actually benefits from that because we're trying to counter our own human impulses," she claimed.
"That's very interesting," replied Stelter, who said that mistakes often creep in because of the network's "crazy workflow."
Meanwhile, Tater's show has lost 68% of its viewer since the first quarter of 2021.
Tater will not survive the Discovery purge.
He'll be a YouTuber soon enough -- attempting to make a living as one of the uncredentialed internet gabbers he's spent the last six years attempting to deplatform and demonitize.
CNN's "Reliable Sources" with left-wing host Brian Stelter wrapped up a dismal 2021 with a nine-month streak of failing to crack the one-million-viewer plateau as the program has struggled for relevancy during the Biden era.
Stelter, who spent years nitpicking former President Trump's every move, saw his audience erode throughout the year with President Biden in office. "Reliable Sources" averaged 1.4 million viewers during the first quarter but dropped to only 846,000 during the second quarter.
The program that claims to cover the media industry hovered in that range until the final three months of 2021 when it shed 50% of Q1 viewers to finish the fourth quarter with only 696,000 average viewers.
"Reliable Sources" lost even more viewers as the year went on in the advertiser-coveted demographic of adults age 25-54, losing a staggering 68% of its Q1 audience by Q4 by dropping from 299,000 demo viewers to only 95,000.
Stelter' program finished 2021 with an average audience of 947,000 to land outside the top 200 most-watched cable programs behind a variety of cartoons, reruns and niche programming, such as HGTV's "Wasted Space."

Stelter spent much of the year criticizing social media companies over "disinformation" and fretting about conservative media coverage. Along the way, he developed a reputation for ignoring or downplaying media stories that cast liberals and Democrats in a negative light.
