Parents Object to Continued Inclusion of Graphic Underaged Gay Sex Manuals In School Libraries, as Teacher Mocks Evangelicals as Closed-Minded "Bigots" In (Bad) Dr. Seuss-Like Doggerel
Video Added; The Voice Is Excruciating

Before getting to the Dr. Seuss-style insults, let's talk about the two books in dispute.

Someone at Hot Air has linked an article admitting that graphic books about gay underaged sex are all the rage at woke high school and grade school libraries-- will this spur AllahPundit to admit we're not just talking about Toni Morrison, as he's suggested in the past?

Or nah?

Even National Review has a problem with this.

"The thing is, you have to actually see this material with your own eyes and read it in order to perceive how bad it really is," Langton said. "And that's what I did. I wasn't just going to take somebody's word for it."

Indeed, in the context of school libraries, it is exceedingly difficult to defend the content of these books on the merits. While Lawn Boy does not feature Gender Queer's graphic illustrations, it more than makes up for it in explicit sexual language. Evison writes about an experience "in fourth grade at a church group meeting out in the bushes" where "I touched Doug Goble's d**k, and he touched mine. In fact, there were even some mouths involved." Later, a character exclaims: "What if I told you I touched another guy's d**k? What if I told you I sucked it? I was ten years old, but it's true. I put Doug Goble's d**k in my mouth. I was in fourth grade, it was no big deal. He sucked mine too." Still later, the book details a fantasy about "holding or tugging or sucking d***s. All I could think about while he was chatting me up, was his little salamander between my fourth-grade fingers, rapidly engorging with blood."

It is no wonder that the materials' apologists shroud their defenses in euphemisms about free speech, "sex positivity," and LGBT inclusion. On their own terms, these texts shock. And sunlight is the best disinfectant: "If the general public could be shown this material, there is no debate -- it ends the debate," Langton said.

Ah, maybe the fact that Even Respectable Conservatives Like National Review are mentioning the truth makes it "safe" for AllahPundit to acknowledge it's not all just about Toni Morrisonk as his leftwing Twitter palz insist, and as he has dutifully re-propagated.

But will he actually acknowledge it in a post of his own? Or just allow this link to exist?

And -- will he find some way to blame Trump or invoke the J6 "insurrection"...?

At any rate, parents object to these books and their graphic -- and in one book's case, photographic -- depiction of underaged boys having gay sex.

And for that, they're mocked as bigots.

And they're mocked for their religion. Which I thought was supposed against the rules for SJWs.

I guess not. So are other attacks based on fundamental characteristics now a Go as well, or just that one...?

Parents in the Austin, Texas, area expressed outrage after an educator read a Dr. Seuss-style poem mocking "evangelicals" and parents who have expressed concerns about books they call pornographic.

Krista Tyler, a former instructional technology specialist at Grisham Middle School in the Round Rock Independent School District (ISD), read the poem at the Leander ISD school board meeting Dec. 16.

"Everyone in Leander liked reading a lot/ but some evangelicals in Leader did not," Tyler begins. "These kooks hated reading, the whole reading season./ Please don't ask why, no one quite knows the reason./ It could be perhaps critical thinking causes fright./ It could be their heads aren't screwed on just right./ But whatever the reason, their brains or their fright,/ they can't follow policy in plain black and white."

You can read the rest of it at the link. It's just too tiresome and odious to quote further.

Now, I'm sure you're all wondering: What an absolute Queen of Beauty this fair creature must be, to have grown into such a graceful and mentally-stable maid...!

I know you're thinking that, because of course you are.

But I'm sorry, in this case, you've guessed wrong.

Rather badly wrong, I'm afraid.

I know, I know. We all feel a little bit betrayed by the cruel slap of reality.

Parents were bothered:

"I'm disgusted and disheartened that there are teachers in our school district who think it is OK to mock parents for their religious beliefs, and for demanding that children not have access to books in the library or classroom that have pornographic illustrations and graphic descriptions of sex acts," Dustin Clark, a father of four children in Round Rock public schools who got arrested for speaking out in a school board meeting, told Fox News.

Clark mentioned two of the books in question: "Lawn Boy," by Jonathan Evison, which includes long sections of a boy reminiscing about explicit experiences he had at 10 years old; and "Gender Queer: A Memoir," by Maia Kobabe, which includes photos of sexual acts between a boy and a man. Concerned parents have spoken up about these books and others in Leader and Round Rock, as well as in other school districts, such as Fairfax County, Virginia.

Tyler issued this near-gibberish response to Fox's inquiry, which might explain why children are lagging in reading and writing:

"Krista Tyler was not an employee of any school district at the time of this statement and is a fellow parent in Leander ISD. At no point was she representing any school district. This was not an attack on Christianity and had nothing to do with Round Rock ISD. Krista Tyler asked that the obstructionist parents in Leander ISD use the policies in place if they wish to hold the school board accountable. It is a reasonable ask and is her 1st amendment right as a taxpayer in her own district."

Meanwhile, Buzzfeed publishes a call to "deplatform white parents."

Buzzfeed wants to "deplatform white parents." Their reason is that "white parents" are allegedly the ones behind the rallies against critical race and gender theory indoctrination in schools. As such, Buzzfeed's Alessa Dominguez posits, they should simply not be listened to or permitted to speak.

The article, simply titled "Deplatform White Parents," complains that media gives too much space to those who are opposed to transgender or anti-racist ideology. And it claims that opposition to critical race theory and critical gender ideology set "the terms of debate by centering media narratives around the well-being of white women and children."

So parents who object to CRT and Gay Conversion Training will be attacked on both racial and religious grounds.

Any questions?

26 It's a hot, steamy blessing of liberty.
