Fauci: It's "Dangerous" to Criticize Me Because "I Represent Science"

Rand Paul rightly notes that Fauci has built a religious cult around his person having nothing to do with science.

Fauci isn't even a scientist. Hasn't been for decades. He's a bureaucrat and an administrator. He fills out forms, he doesn't fill test tubes.

Fauci's greatest scientific contribution was funding the creation of the Wuhan virus that killed six million people worldwide.

Let's get him that Nobel.

National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Disease Director Anthony Fauci invoked imagery of the all-powerful church of the Medieval era when he declared on CBS News, "I represent science", medical doctor and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul remarked Monday on "Fox News Primetime."

Paul, a doctor of ophthalmology who has clashed with the Brooklyn immunologist in Senate hearings multiple times in recent months, told Fox News Fauci's declaration was just the latest example of his self-important view of himself.

"When a government bureaucrat has the audacity and the arrogance to say they represent all of science, we should be running the other way," he told host Pete Hegseth. "It conjures up images of the Medieval Church and their repression of science. Science has nothing to do with having obedience to any kind of government dogma."

Cruz was more mocking than alarmed.

"I gotta admit, Sean, I was laughing... It is [his] delusions of grandeur that you cannot criticize him. And it was very striking," Cruz said.

The most recent argument concerns the Savior Fauci's Holy Declaration that "a distinct anti-science flavor" natural immunity is not strong and durable and should not be counted as immunity.

Fauci says only the jab should count. That isn't about science; that's a political claim and a religious catechism. It's also a bureaucrat's convenience -- they just don't want to have to check two different forms when checking your papers.

I'm old enough to remember when the Gestapo at least wasn't lazy.

A very recent paper found that immunity acquired through exposure to covid was still going eleven months after recovery, which seems a lot better than the immunity provided by the vaccines, which are now admitted to wane greatly after six months.

But but but The Science, the Pope of the NIAID declared in a papal bull.

This is funny stuff. Should make a nice little pick-me-up for some of you.
