Quinnipiac: Now Only 36% of F. Joe Biden's Rancid Stools Are Making It Into the Toilet

Let's Low Brandon.

Joe Biden's job approval rating has sunk to 36 percent in the latest poll from left-wing Quinnipiac, and the Republican party is up eight points on the generic congressional ballot.

Keep in mind that Quinnipiac is an infamously left-wing pollster. So anything Quinnipiac can do to juice a poll in favor of Democrats, Quinnipiac will do. And still, this poll is ALL bad news for Democrats.

...

On the generic congressional ballot, the GOP is up eight among all adults (46-38 percent) and up five (46-41 percent) among registered voters.

Nolte points out that among the four most important issues -- as self-reported by survey respondents -- Republicans lead by 11 points on average.

The reasons for this are found in this same poll. A majority of 52 percent of Americans say Democrats have moved too far left. Meanwhile, only 35 percent of Americans say the Republicans have moved too far to the right.

A whopping majority of 54 percent say Democrats don't care about the needs of people like them. Slightly more, 56 percent, say the same about the GOP, but they always say that about the GOP. Democrats were seen as the empathy party, the party of the little guy, and those days are now over.

...

"Americans say 46 - 38 percent they would want to see the Republican Party win control of the House of Representatives, reports the pollster, and a margin of 46 - 40 percent "want to see the Republican Party win control of the U.S. Senate."

By margins of ten points, Independent voters want the GOP to control the House (41-31percent) and the Senate (44-34 percent).

Democrats can take solace that at least this polling isn't as bad for them as the polling in the blowout years of 1998 and 2010.

This polling is much, much worse for them. See the article for more.

Biden's approval is even worse in key swing districts that are key bellwethers for control of Congress.

While Biden's approval rating in these districts is actually better, per this NRCC poll, than what the leftwing Quinnipiac poll shows, Biden's standing among independents is much worse:

Biden's approval rating among independents, specifically, is even more devastating, as they disapprove by a 26-point margin -- 31 percent approving and 57 percent disapproving. Of those, 10 percent "strongly" approve of Biden. Far more, 45 percent, "strongly" disapprove.

The Democrats and Mark Zuckerberg are going to have to "fortify" this election like they've never "fortified" an election before.

Trial Update:

@brianstelter

NBC News statement: "Last night, a freelancer received a traffic citation. While the traffic violation took place near the jury van, the freelancer never contacted or intended to contact the jurors during deliberations, and never photographed or intended to photograph them" (1/2)

"We regret the incident and will fully cooperate with the authorities on any investigation," NBC adds (2/2)

Via Tami.

Rekieta's crew presses X to doubt. Viva Frei notes the extreme improbability that he just happened to get a ticket for running a red light while coincidentally following the juror bus.

He ran the red light specifically to not lose his tail on the bus, of course.

The media's busines model is just lying. That's all they do. Lie after lie after lie after lie after lie.

@lookner

Perspective: Court TV correspondent who knows James J. Morrison just said a reporter following a jury bus is a long-standing practice by news outlets in big trials to get info on juror panel so news outlets can reach out to jurors quickly after verdict. "Happens all the time."

Court TV correspondent says he doesn't want to defend the practice, and acknowledges some people might think it's despicable. Says when a reporter follows a jury bus they're looking for the jurors' license plates so they can get their contact info to contact them after verdict.

Ummm...how would the media get their contact info FROM THEIR LICENSE PLATES!?!?
