While the difference between the characters themselves is subtle, fans of the films have taken note of the recasting -- particularly the political differences between the two actors, with Evans being known for liberal ideals while Allen is among Hollywood's outspoken conservatives.

"So glad Tim Allen isn't voicing Buzz Lightyear. His political beliefs will negatively influence children who watch the film and he sounds like he's 90-years-old anyways," said one Twitter user. "Sorry, not sorry. Chris Evans is the perfect fit."

It should be noted that this is supposedly prequel, and that the leftist SJW softboy Chris Evans will be playing the real man who inspired the doll Buzz Lightyear.

I say it's "supposedly" a prequel because it obviously takes place in the far future where spaceplanes launched by electromagnetic rail towers have replaced rockets. There's also a robotic cat and what seems to be space aliens.

The Toy Story films took place in present day.

What this really is is "what if the sci-fi character Buzz Lightyear was real instead of just a doll?" Fine, but... there's no reason to not cast the voice of Buzz Lightyear, Tim Allen, in the role, then.

Given Disney's strident corporate progressivism and track record of political animus against Tim Allen, it seems reasonable to say that this firing was due to the "family entertainment" corporation's general hatred of conservatives.

Another In-and-Out location shuts down rather than act as the Vaccine Enforcement Police.

The popular California-based fast-food chain In-N-Out has shut down a location in Contra Costa County after workers failed to check customers' vaccination status, violating the county's vaccine mandate.

This comes only weeks after a separate location was closed in San Francisco on Oct.14, for the same reason, which caused a stir of political debate online. Two other In-N-Out restaurants in the area have also been given fines and warnings for not checking a person’s vaccination status before they eat.

They're targeting In-and-Out due to suspicions the wildly-popular family-owned business might be conservative.
