Sophisticated Science-Fiction TV Show Cafe
Rescuing Messi, a sickly puma adopted as a cub from a zoo.
Orphaned baby otter follows kids home.
Kitten and mouse have a play-date.
Red panda munches on carrots.
Giant panda enjoying a pool.
Gorilla break-dancing in water.
Zen dog.
Here is a bat.
Here is a cat disguised as a bat. Poorly disguised.
On to the nostalgia:
Intros to the Lost in Space show. The show had two intros, both of which were written by John Williams. The one for the first two seasons was good, but I really love the season 3 theme.
Intros to science-fiction shows of the 1970s. Including not one but two series featuring invisible men, Project: Bluebook, The Man from Atlantis, Spider-Man, Battlestar Gallactica, and Buck Rogers.
That compilation omits two really big sci-fi shows, both about people who were made Better... Stronger... Faster by technology, so here are the themes of both.
It also omitted this intro for an emigrant from Paradise Island, and this self-experimenting gamma scientist. The end theme of that show is even more well-known.
Also missing: This intro from a British produced TV series, and this rockin' theme for a series by the same producer.
They also missed, I think, this short-lived and expensive TV series about damned dirty apes.
As well as this legenary, groundbreaking space exploration show.
Intros to some of the better-known 80s sci-fi tv series, including The Greatest American Hero and... Battlestar '84.
Some intros for lesser-known cheesy sci-fi series of the 1980s, including "Manimal" and "Wizards & Warriors."
Missing from those compilations are the themes for the various super-vehicle tv shows.
Like this one about a chatty car.
This one about a helicopter.
This one also about a helicopter, featuring co-star... Dana Carvey??! WHAT?
This one about a motorcycle.
And this one, also about a car, but a different car.
Oh yeah, and then there was this one about A Train That Solves Crimes. Well it doesn't solve crimes, but it is a supertrain.
The vehicles on this show weren't super, but this intro makes it clear that vehicles are the stars of the show. And a robot.
Finally, themes to science fiction shows of the early 1990s, including one of the supervehicle shows I forgot.
