Rose McGowan Endorses Larry Elder, Gives Joint Press Conference Detailing Gavin Newsom's Scheme to "Bribe" Her Into Going Easy on Harvey Weinstein

#BelieveAllWomen.
#MeToo activist Rose McGowan detailed how Gov. Gavin Newsom's wife attempted to "bribe" and silence her from speaking out about fallen film mogul Harvey Weinstein's sexual abuses at a joint press conference Sunday afternoon with California gubernatorial candidate Larry Elder.
...
McGowan discussed her allegations that Jennifer Siebel Newsom tried to bribe her in order to suppress the bombshell Harvey Weinstein sexual abuse scandal. Ms. Newsom has tried to deny allegations, but there is written evidence of the communication happening the way McGowan said it did.
That written evidence is here. Gavin Newsom's wife essentially confesses the basics of Rose McGowan's story, while disputing her characterization of it.
In fact, McGowan's tweet has embedded in it a reproduction of an email message from Ms. Newsom herself saying, in her own words, that she reached out to McGowan personally and specifically mentioned Boies, asking "what if anything Boies could do for her that would help her to heal."
The wider context is that McGowan claims that the Newsoms are trying to get her to drop her claim that Ms. Newsom and possibly other women have infiltrated Weinstein victims' groups in order to gather information, orchestrated by Boies.
Note that Clinton and Gore lawyer David Boies was Harvey Weinstein's lawyer.
McGowan has previously said that someone -- as of yet unidentified -- contacted her to offer one million dollars to remain quiet about Harvey Weinstein.
McGowan alleged that Siebel Newsom sent her an email in which she '[implied] that she was a Weinstein rape victim to get into this private group of Weinstein rape victims,' before asking what Boies, Weinstein's attorney, had to do so McGowan wouldn't come forward.
In 2017, the former Charmed actor said someone close to Weinstein offered her $1million if she agreed to sign a non-disclosure agreement. McGowan says she refused the offer. It is unclear if Newsom's wife was the one who made the offer.
Back to the press conference:
McGowan kicked off the press briefing by telling the audience that she no longer considers herself to be a Democrat: "I finally came to a point where I am not a Democrat, because everyone who has harassed, stalked, and stolen from me in my time in Hollywood has been a Democrat."
On Elder himself, McGowan commented, "Do I agree with him on every issue? No. So what?"
"He is the better candidate. He is the better man," McGowan said.
"I used to listen to Larry Elder after I'd drive home from the set. Sometimes I'd even pull over and use a fake name, usually Tracy, to call in. And from him, I learned about the corruption of the teachers union in this state," she added.
Update: Disclosure forms establish that David Boies sent pricey gifts to Gavin Newsom.
At right about the time Newsom's wife posed as a rape survivor to get to McGowan.
The Washington Free Beacon reported that according to financial disclosures, Newsom has accepted pricey bottles of wine from Boies, including in 2017, roughly six weeks after the publication of a New Yorker report that Boies tried to dig up dirt on Weinstein accusers, including McGowan.
Fox News reached out to Newsom's office for a response to the allegations but they did not immediately respond.
