Biden Appoints Eco-Terrorist To Head Bureau of Land Management – Senate Confirmation Is Imminent

Have you heard about the terrorist who is about take the helm of BLM? No, not that BLM, which you might understandably associate with terror. No, I’m referring to the Bureau of Land Management. The US Senate is about to approve terrorist Tracy Stone-Manning to become head of the BLM. The vote could come this week.

What experience does she have managing public lands? Well, in her younger days she was a terrorist in an organization called Earth First. To “protect” public lands, her group engaged in the act of “tree spiking” to keep them from being logged.

So, just what is tree spiking?

The Washington Post has described tree spiking as an “eco-terrorist tactic” used against loggers and others in the forest-related industry. Spikes are buried in the tree wood so that when a saw hits them, the equipment shatters and sends shards of metal flying — a tactic that often severely injures loggers.

Listen, I love trees too – I live in a forest. And I also have great admiration for the men who work in the timber industry, providing a basic necessity for society. A woman who once belonged to a terrorist group that was willing to maim and kill loggers is now going to have the awesome power of the federal government to torment her adversaries. If I was a logger, I’d be very afraid of her. Again.

In 1989, Ms. Stone-Manning typed and mailed a letter to the Forest Service advising them that numerous trees had been spiked in an area named the Post Office Timber Sale. She sounds like a charming person:

“This letter is being sent to notify you that the Post Office Sale has been spiked heavily. The reasoning for this action is that this piece of land is very special to the earth. The sales were marked so that no workers would be injured and so that you assholes know they are spiked. You bastards go in there anyway and a lot of people could get hurt.”

Tree spiking is a federal felony. Four years later Ms. Stone-Manning received immunity when she agreed to testify against one of her co-terrorists.

With her background in managing public lands via terror, and without any murders pinned directly to her, Joe Biden has found her to be an ideal candidate to run the BLM. All 50 Democrat Senators plan to vote for her while all 50 Republican Senators are opposed.

Michael Merkley is a retired USDA Forest Service Special Agent. He sent this remarkable letter to Joe Manchin and Joe Barrasso of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources urging them not to allow Ms. Stone-Manning’s nomination to proceed.

“In 1989, the supervisor of the Clearwater National Forest in Orofino, Idaho received an anonymous, threatening letter regarding trees in the Post Office Timber Sale having been spiked. My investigations later revealed that this letter had been not only collaboratively composed, but also was then typed, and sent by Ms. Stone-Manning. When I inspected the site of the timber sale area, I discovered numerous trees painted with graffiti and many that had been spiked. Some of the spikes in the trees were plainly visible, but on others, the spikes had been deliberately covered with sap and sometimes even had bark stuck on top of the sap, in deliberate attempts to hide the spikes.

“Throughout this initial investigation in 1989, Ms. Stone-Manning was extremely difficult to work with; in fact, she was the nastiest of the suspects. She was vulgar, antagonistic, and extremely anti-government. She was very uncooperative and refused to provide the hair, hand writing exemplars, and fingerprints as ordered by the federal grand jury. It was not until after we informed her that she would be arrested if she did not comply with the subpoena that she reluctantly provided these samples to me. However, she refused to answer any of my other questions. Eventually, after further investigation, I discovered that she had known all along who had perpetrated the crimes.”

West Virginians need to know that their “conservative” Democrat Senator, Joe Manchin, supports this terrorist’s appointment to head BLM.

Never Trump also owns this nomination. All the “conservatives” at National Review who worked to defeat Donald Trump can pat themselves on the back knowing that their efforts have allowed Biden to appoint a tree-spiking terrorist to head the Bureau of Land Management. Hers is the kind of civility that Conservative, Inc. can live with apparently. And best of all, as vulgar and violent as she was, she never sent a mean Tweet to the loggers her organization tried to dismember.
