US Women's Soccer Team Loses to Canada, Losing Any Chance of Gold Or Silver

In other Woke Olympics news, the supposed "transgender" weightlifter Hubbard failed two out of three lifts and is out of the competition.

I thought this might happen. I actually thought that Hubbard might deliberately lose just to create the propaganda point that men have no advantages over women... in a pure strength sport like weightlifting.

But, as Bonchie at RedState points out, Hubbard is forty-three years old. It shows the advantages men have over women that a deep-in-decline man of 43 can even beat women in their 20s to go to the Olympics at all.

The US women's soccer team sometimes wins against males, too -- against high school boys' teams. The fact that adult women can sometimes beat high school boys' soccer teams doesn't prove that men don't have obvious physical advantages over adult women.

The IOC rule for transgenders is that biological men can have testosterone levels no higher than 288 ng/dl. That's borderline low-t for a man. But still within normal range for a man.

But do you know what the average woman's testosterone is?

Forty. Forty ng/dl.

The whole point of performance enhancing drugs like steroids is to jack up testosterone. (Also: human growth hormone.)

As someone pointed out (forget who), Hubbard has two performance-enhancing drug factories built into his body. They're called "his balls."

Yes, he's taking a drug to reduce his testosterone. To a level that's still around seven times the level of his female competition. (Supposedly, Hubbard is suppressing his testosterone levels below the 288 ng/dl threshold, but... I mean, he's allowed 288 ng/dl, and he grew up with levels a lot higher than that.)

Can biological women take testosterone to boost their own t-levels to male levels? If not, why not?

The Wokelympics' ratings have cratered. Outkick the Coverage suggests an obvious reason why:

Half of the country isn't proud of America. The other half dislikes the politicization of events like the Olympics. Couple the two, and we have a ratings disaster for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

Anything that represents America is now controversial. The U.S. flag triggers the Left, while the social stances of some athletes turn off the Right. Thus, almost everyone has lost interest in the Games. American viewers don't care if their team wins or loses anymore. So fewer and fewer of them are watching.

The Olympics don't mean what they used to. And as a TV property, its value is shrinking.

Why should I root for a fundamentally, systematically racist, sexist, and transphobic country?
