Quick Hits: NeverTrump Means NeverConservative Edition
"I allow my girlfriend to sleep with other man, but how dare you call me a cvck."
I don't know if this is real or a very, very subtle attempt at parody.
Speaking of cvx, here's the True Conservative David French to inform you that to resist SJW limitations on your speech is to be an SJW snowflake yourself.
Note that this has been a cherished meme of the Antifa Left for years.
And now this True Conservative picks it up.
Another Noted True Conservative NeverTrumper now declares that the GOP's concerns over Democrat vote fraud aren't really about Democrat vote fraud -- apparently he agrees with his leftwing Twitter palz that there is no such thing -- but about the "nagging" worry that the GOP simply can't win national elections.
In other words -- this True Conservative endorses Stacy Abrams' claim that all voter integrity efforts suppress the black vote, and are designed to do so.
NeverTrump = NeverConservative
The very moderate, extremely centrist conservative-leaning paragon of honesty that David French and AllahPundit supported for president is now referring to pregnant women as "birthing people" in his official budget proposals.
I expect that Quin Hilyer, Ron Dreher, and the rest of the cowards who supported Biden over Trump will pretend they're shocked and horrified to discover that Biden, the first man on a national ticket to embrace gay marriage (or to be honest about that), is actually a far-left social progressive.
I've complained about this a lot: All the GOP is is the Democrat Party minus 10 years.
What the GOP defends as the "conservative tradition" is merely what the Democrat Party were fighting for ten years ago.
And you can't just say this is because "this is where the public has moved to." It's also due to the fact that our "leaders," while pretending to be conservative every 2 or 4 years, are in fact social urban liberals who really do just want 4-6 years to adjust to the new mandated reality of the far left.
Voters adapt to what their "leaders" are telling them is possible -- and what is good and pure.
In five more years, the GOP Establishment will be fighting for funding to find out why gay marriages break up, and how we can best counsel gays to remain married.
