Chinese State Media Warns of Nuclear War with US In Wake of Covid-Origins Investigation

Innocent people always threaten literal nuclear war when you start looking into them.

Now, the Chinese State Media did not link this nuclear war threat to the covid investigation, though Newsmax mentioned it as background, and Tim Pool made that connection more directly.

I think that connection is fair and accurate.

Newsmax reports:

Chinese state media is calling on a nuclear buildup as a "strategic deterrence" against the United States, Newsweek reported Tuesday.

"We must be prepared for an intense showdown between China and the U.S.," Hu Xijin, the editor of the Chinese state-run newspaper the Global Times, wrote in an editorial Thursday. "The number of China's nuclear warheads must reach the quantity that makes U.S. elites shiver should they entertain the idea of engaging in a military confrontation with China."

China has made the "US elites" more afraid of China than they're afraid of us.

We must work hard to change this. Perhaps we should start warning of an "intense showdown" ourselves.

President Joe Biden has kept up the tough public stance on China after former President Donald Trump pressed toward a trade deal that sought to call out China's human rights abuses, intellectual property theft, forced-technology transfer, and trade imbalances.

Also, Biden announced last week a 90-day review from the U.S. intelligence community to issue a report on the COVID-19 origins, which the Trump administration has long maintained was likely released from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

...

He admitted the [nuclear weapons] buildup should be meant to deter war, not strike it, but he noted "U.S. hostility toward China is burning."

"On this basis, we can calmly and actively manage divergences with Washington to avoid a minor incident sparking a war," Hu concluded. "U.S. hostility toward China is burning. We must use our strength, and consequences that Washington cannot afford to bear if it takes risky moves, to keep them sober."

The Newsmax article notes that "Far east policy expert" Gordon Chang informed John Bachelor that China deployed its "top biological weapons expert" to the covid lab in January (2020, I presume): "to clean up evidence of a lab leak as well as to destroy evidence of a biological weapons program."

You can see that interview linked in the article.

Update: British intelligence says the obvious: That the lab leak theory is "feasible."

Apparently the West's intelligence services serve the same function as National Review: Confirming the truth that people have known for 15 months already, after having denied it for 12 months.

Update: China says it now wants to be frenz with everyone-- which, to me, is confirmation that China released the virus and knows it's about to be proven to be the mass murderer.

John Sexton quotes the Times attacking the kind of Assault Journalism we've seen for the last year, with self-appointed gatekeepers smearing and defaming anyone who questioned the precious narrative of these C-Student Communications Majors.

And we don't need it from scientists with media connections, either:

Scientists who challenged the default thinking were branded as "conspiracy theorists," Jamie Metzl, adviser to the World Health Organisation (WHO) on human genome editing and senior fellow with the Atlantic Council think tank, told the Times.

"Since the earliest days of the pandemic there were a small number of leading scientists who took it upon themselves to enforce this kind of orthodoxy," Metzl added.

You mean like Anthony Fauci and his very good friend and fellow Mad Scientist Peter Daszack, for instance? Who were both sending money to Wuhan for gain of function research (which is what we used to call "bioweapons genetic engineering") on a strain of bat virus which is the main genetic component of covid?

Those guys set themselves up as gatekeepers denying the possibility that they were the handmaidens to the plague?

Well blow me down.

I guess that doesn't go well with the Ruling Class' "trust the authorities and your social betters" agenda.
