Donor to the Wuhan Lab Personally Thanked Anthony Fauci For (Falsely) Claiming The Science Disproved the Lab Leak Theory

Buzzfeed FOIA'd Fauci's emails, and a heavily redacted version of them is now being reported on. Washington Post also FOIA'd them, I think.

A savvy friend observed that the Buzzfeed and "Democracy Dies in Darkness LOL" FOIA'd the emails in the first place, no doubt, to find dirt on Trump -- Trump bellowing "I DON'T CARE WHAT SCIENCE SAYS! TURN THOSE MACHINES BACK ON NOW!" -- but, having found nothing of that kind, they now turn to attempting to whitewash Fauci, claiming the emails show that he is a brave civil servant standing up to crazy critics:

So: apparently the emails do not contain anything like Trump screaming that he WANTS PEOPLE TO GET COVID!

If they did, we'd have a third impeachment hearing already scheduled.

In fact, they must have been very sad that the emails they found had Fauci saying he was not "muzzled at all" by the Trump administration.

A woman citizen -- not a polico -- had written to Fauci, spreading her own misinformation, certainly gotten from the Blue Anon conspiracy channels like CNN and MSNBC:

"I understand Vice President Pence has ordered you to not inform the public about Coronavirus without approval. This is quite terrifying, especially since Trump has already shown his desire to spread false or incomplete information about this public health crisis," the woman wrote.

She had tracked down Fauci's email, which is not easily accessible on government websites, because she had a pressing question: "I'm planning to fly domestically TOMORROW [REDACTED]. Is it safe??"

Of course, Fauci had urgent matters of his own to attend to, but he replied to the stranger anyway the next day. "There is much misinformation," he wrote back. "I actually have not been muzzled at all by the Vice President. And BTW, it is safe to fly domestically [REDACTED]."

What a hero for responding to a Rachel Maddow Super-Fan's email, huh?

And note that Fauci told her, sure, use the airlines as you will.

This is early-days of covid, but it is worth noting that Fauci was blithely dismissive of the covid threat.

And if Trump seemed to dismiss the threat -- well, he was relying on Fauci's reading of "THE SCIENCE" for that.

So instead, the emails are being reported on in an effort to rehabilitate the badly-discredited Fauci.

It falls, then, to right-leaning organizations like the Daily Caller to actually read the emails with a critical eye.

Dr. Peter Daszak founded EcoHealth Alliance. It is through EcoHealth Alliance that Fauci donated US taxpayer money to the Wuhan lab for research Fauci claims is not gain-of-function, and yet which is called gain-of-function by experts not named Fauci.

One might say that EcoHealth Alliance helped "launder" US money to Wuhan.

And the Daily Caller has found emails from Daszak to Fauci personally thanking him for debunking this crazy, insane, totally conspiratorial theater that covid was created in, and released from, the same Wuhan lab that Daszak was funneling US grant money to.

EcoHealth Alliance President Dr. Peter Daszak personally thanked Dr. Anthony Fauci in April 2020 for throwing water on the COVID-19 lab leak theory during a White House press briefing.

The email was part of a 3,200-page batch of Fauci's emails obtained by BuzzFeed News through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit.

A large portion of Daszak's email to Fauci was redacted with a FOIA exemption indicating the text could reasonably be expected to interfere with law enforcement proceedings.

Um, what? Law enforcement proceedings?

Oh you mean the DOJ coverup of Fauci's perjury and Daszak's role in the scheme. Cover-ups are now "law enforcement proceedings" which justify the redaction of information the US taxpayer paid for and has the right to see.

Carry on.

The thankings continued.

Daszak personally thanked Fauci in the email for the bravery he exhibited during a White House press briefing the day prior when he said the novel coronavirus exhibits features that are "totally consistent" with an animal to human origin and that don't point to lab manipulation.

Fauci's comments were framed at the time by media outlets such as Business Insider as a rejection of the lab leak "conspiracy theory."

"I just wanted to say a personal thankyou on behalf of our staff and collaborators, for publicly standing up and stating that the scientific evidence supports a natural origin for COVID-19 from a bat-to-human spillover, not a lab release from the Wuhan Institute of Virology," Daszak wrote to Fauci.

"Collaborators" here refers to the Chinese Wuhan lab researchers Daszak was working with/funneling US taxpayer money to, including Dr. Zenglii, the notorious "Bat Lady" who was genetically modifying the exact same bat coronaviruses which then became the base genetic code for the hybrid mutant human-infecting covid-19.

Coincidentally enough!

"From my perspective, your comments are brave, and coming from your trusted voice, will help dispel the myths being spun around the virus' origins," Daszak added.

It does indeed take a brave man to lie with such seeming conviction and such complete disregard for the consequences of that lie.

The below is old news -- mentioned in this article as background information -- but it's new to me. I didn't know this, or, probably, I knew it briefly and then forgot it.

Daszak was quite the busy beaver in putting out the word to the media to attack the lab leak theory as a "conspiracy theory" -- to, as he admits, protect his Chinese "collaborators" from online criticism!

Well, at least if you're organizing a massive censorship campaign to deny the public highly relevant and vital health information for a good reason like protecting cronies from online criticism, I can see how this is another justifiable Noble Lie.

Daszak orchestrated a statement published in The Lancet medical journal in February 2020 prior to any serious research on the origins of COVID-19 condemning "conspiracy theories" that suggest the virus doesn't have a natural origin. Daszak later admitted through a spokesman that he organized the statement to protect Chinese scientists from online criticism.

I mean... It's incredible. It's absolutely incredible.

It is incredible -- and a horrifying statement about where this country is -- that these people are not currently being pursued by a grand jury.

Below, a British medical official (I think) named Jeremy Farrar brings an article to Fauci's attention -- an article from that conspiratorial Zero Hedge, making the Debunked Conspiracy Theory claim that covid came from the Wuhan lab.

We can't see Fauci's redacted reply.

Any guesses? Perhaps something like organizing a joint letter to social media platforms demanding that this Spreader of Debunked Conspiracy Theories be deplatformed for being right?

They are empowered to lie with impunity, but you are to be punished for telling the truth.
