In a Sneaky Unpublicized Appendix, The FBI Finally Admits That the Leftwing Extremist James Hodgkinson III Committed a Politically-Motivated Terrorist Attack When He Attempted to Assassinate a Dozen Republican Congressmen

Literally it took four fucking years for them to stop playing word games about this.

The FBI only brands right-leaning people "terrorists."

For those associated with the left, or with Islam, there are euphemisms galore to keep them off the lists of terrorists.

Keeping leftwing terrorism and Islamist kills low is useful propaganda for them. The media loves publicizing these fake figures.

But don't get too encouraged; I fear there is a nasty reason for this sudden admission.

The Rachel Maddow fan, Trump hater, and Bernie Sanders volunteer who did the shooting came armed to kill that day, but the FBI made an astounding decision when classifying the shooting. Instead of labeling the attempted assassinations the clear-cut case of domestic terrorism by a Leftist, hellbent on killing Republicans, the FBI labeled the attack a case of "suicide-by-cop." Americans in April were stunned to learn this news during a congressional hearing when one of the men who narrowly escaped assassination pressed the bureau on it.

On a scale of dumb and dumber, it was on par with calling the Fort Hood terror attack by an Army doctor and avowed "Soldier of Allah" a case of "workplace violence," which is what the Obama administration called it.

FBI investigators knew that the political extremist didn''t know there would be cops with the GOP baseball players that day. There nearly weren't. But this was Acting Director Andrew McCabe'' FBI of Trump-Is-a-Russian-Secret-Agent infamy and thereafter Chris Wray's hyper-politicized FBI, after all.

But the Examiner reports that late Friday, after reporters had put their stories to bed and gone to a favorite watering hole, the FBI "quietly" slipped in a different explanation for the baseball field attack: domestic terrorism.

The revelation appears in the middle of an appendix on page 35 of a 40-page FBI-DHS report released on Friday titled "Security Strategic Intelligence Assessment and Data on Domestic Terrorism."

So why make this change?

The FBI has long used convoluted reasoning to keep the number of terrorism cases low, at least as far as official tallies.

You will no doubt recall that Islamic terrorist attacks are routinely claimed not to be terrorist attacks, because they lack any "foreign sponsorship."

But that just means it's a homegrown terrorist attack -- not that it's not a terrorist attack at all.

But the FBI chooses to pretend that, in the case of Islamist attack, if there is no clear overseas affiliation, then it's just not a terrorist attack at all.

Would the FBI claim that a KKK terrorist was not a terrorist simply because he did not receive funding from Qatar?

Of course not -- this fake definition exists only to reduce the numbers of officially-admitted Islamist attacks.

Keep those official numbers down, keep 'em down, keep 'em down.

Stopping terrorism itself is actually a secondary or tertiary concern. The only important thing for the fake cops of the FBI is the official numbers.

My dark reading about suddenly admitting that a leftwing mass-assassination attempt was in fact domestic terrorism and not an attempted "suicide by cop" is that the FBI intends to start broadening rather than limiting what can be counted as "terrorism," so they can start branding more Republicans "terrorists."

And, per this theory, the James Hodgkinson mass assassination attempt was problematic, because it obviously relied upon an incredibly limited and cramped definition of terrorism.

So they're admitting that one -- just so they can start charging the Four Hour Insurrectionists with terrorism.

And for no other reason.

Repeat after me:

When antifa beats you on the street, that is "protected First Amendment expression."

When you wield your gun to protect yourself, that is Political Extremist Terrorism.

Do what the left wills; that is the whole of the law.
