GAINZZZ and BOOKZZZ

I'm hobbled by a planar fascitis pain in the heel. I think I got it from walking uphill with weights. So I've got no GAINZZZ.

On the BOOKZZZ front: I know this is a mancard-forfeiting offense, but I never saw Where Eagles Dare. I've seen bits of it, I saw some machine-gun fighting inside the castle, but not more than ten minutes of it.

I always meant to watch it. Never did.

The Critical Drinker praised high hell out of the movie, so I looked on Amazon and saw I could buy it for $5, so I did.

I also bought the book for $4, which I started reading yesterday.

It's really good so far. I can't recommend it yet, given that I've only read the first few chapters, but so far it's living up to what Critical Drinker promised. I'm reading the book first because Drinker said it had a lot of twists, which I imagine would be better handled in a book. More clues and anticipation in a book. In a movie that kind of intricate plotting tends to be either rushed or omitted completely.
