Boulder gunman Ahmad Alissa, 21, is charged with murdering ten people at grocery store where vaccine shots were being issued: Cops reveal shooter 'lived most of his life in US' and was shot through leg in massacre

The suspect has been named as 21-year-old Ahmad Alissa of Arvada, Colorado

Ten people were shot dead by him at the King Soopers grocery store in Boulder, Colorado

The shooting happened at 3pm local time on Monday

Alissa unleashed terror on the store for around 20 minutes before being taken into custody

One of those killed was hero cop Eric Talley, a father of seven, who was the first to respond to the scene

25-year-old Rikki Olds was identified on Tuesday morning as another of the ten victims

It's unclear if the others killed were customers, staff or cops, or if they were randomly targeted

Harrowing photos and videos taken once the gunman had been arrested show bodies strewn across the store

Officials are expected to give an update at 8.30am local time (10.30am EST)

Update: The Daily Mail report says his name is actually Ahmad Al-Issa.

NBC's Pete Williams said on MSNBC his federal sources have said there is no indication the shooting was an act of terror or a hate crime.

Williams said if the motive was believed to be related to terrorism,
the FBI would be the lead agency, but the Boulder Police are leading
this investigation.

Williams said the suspect's family members revealed he "suffered from fairly severe mental problems, paranoia, thought people were always chasing him." Williams said there were no known "records of encounters between him and law enforcement."
