A Little of This. A Little of That.

  • Selective hearing at it's very best.

  • There is no way this would fly at our home.

  • Sledding is an awesome winter time adventure. This pup agrees.

  • If he only had thumbs. H/T Hrothgar.

    Meet The PetMorons

    Hi,

This is Ripley, my new pupper. She's a Beabull (1/2 Beagle, 1/2 English Bulldog). My beloved BoTerrier Guinness shuffled off this mortal coil in September leaving us dog-less for the first time in 28 years. I applied for several bulldog rescues but had no luck. Then I found this little lass right before Thanksgiving. She's the most docile, easy going dog I've ever owned. Our 3 cats do not share that opinion as they're scurrying for the safety of the high cabinets to escape the rampaging puppy.

Thanks for the AOS Pet Thread. It's a weekly reader. - JohnO

Ripley has a unique background. And as if you didn't know it, he's adorable. Sorry to hear about your pup Guiness passing. But Ripley looks like he keeps your mind off your loss. Thanks for sharing today.

This is my Boykin Spaniel “Chief”. This Little Brown Dog is a great retriever and companion. He has given me years of fun and is the picture of loyalty. - Michael

Chief certainly is photogenic besides being a great retriever and companion. Do you use him hunting or does he retrieve other items? Definitely a cute spaniel. Thanks for your contribution today.

Hello! Long time lurker here! This is my sweet boy Monty. He’s the most social, sweet boy I have ever known. He’s Richard Dawson on Family Feud (dating myself, I know). He’s ruled the roost for 9.5 years. I simply adore him. He was born on the 4th of July, and is one patriotic pup! Plus, he’ll happily wear party hats if treats are involved! Love the pet thread; thank you! - Donna

Well, at least he isn't Newkirk :). Great photo of your dog and green grass. So how do you keep the hats on that handsome doggeh? Thanks for taking the time to submit Monty's story.

This photo was submitted with just the subject matter: "Pet Photo For Your Consideration". I'm sorry there is no name to provide for the cute little sweetie. If you are here today feel free to jump in and tell us about your friend.

This is my friend Jimbro's new puppy, Ollie. From what I gather, he looks worried because he's moving into a home with two other dogs and doesn't know what's what just yet. I hope by the time you see this Oillie is settled in and part of the pack. - Sobek Pundit

Our contributor is a regular and I have one thing to say. I wish I could sketch half as good as you do. Thank you for gracing the Pet Thread with your God given talents. Good luck to Ollie.

is is Bella, our 8 year old seal point ragdoll. Like most ragdolls, she's very docile and loves attention. Our normally cat-hating GSD will snuggle with her on the couch sometimes. - PabloD

My oh my, what beautiful blue eyes Bella has. I can understand why your dog snuggles with her, she's a beautiful kitteh. Thanks so much for sharing.

    Hello!

Long time lurker and seldom poster Thecommander here! Here are two of our three beauties! The black kitty is a stray we just recently took in, uniquely named Little Black Cat, or LBC for short. The regal white kitty is Beam. He is named for Jim Beam, as he hails from KY like the beverage! Love the pet thread - keep up the awesome work!

Holy blackness Thecommander. That is one beautiful black cat. I wonder how wonderful that coat will be after hanging with you for awhile. Beam is a very regal kitteh indeed. Thanks for sharing with us today.

    Indiana (1).jpg

    Hello,

I wanted to submit my German Shepherd girl, Indiana "Indy" for the pet thread. My wife and I are from Indiana, and thought it was a great name (and from a great movie series). Indy is 14 weeks old, and is from an unwanted litter of puppies. Her mother is a pure White German Shepherd, and her father is darker like Indy is. - Nick in Tallahassee

I have to say that GSD pups are one of the cutest pups there are. Love those big perky ears. Unfortunately they grow into them too fast. Good luck with her and may she live a long and healthy life.
