The Morning Report - 12/4/20

Good morning, kids. The weekend is here, along with some blessed time off to escape the mental and spiritual curb-stomping of this past week. The most dispiriting news has been the infighting on our side centered around the two Georgia Senate seats that are up for grabs vis a vis backing two candidates whose conservative bona fides are perhaps dubious at best. Maybe if every GOP Senator and Congressman walked out en masse from both chambers, gathered at the White House lawn with the President, joined by the GOP state legislators in the six "contested" states and announced on camera that the 2020 election was stolen by the Democrats and that it was their intention to award their electors to Donald Trump, it might make me a tad more enthusiastic about keeping the Senate in Republican control.

But instead of doing what I mentioned above, what did the GOP-controlled Senate do? They stabbed the American people in the face by voting against a central pillar of President Trump's agenda, border and immigration control. I get it, we all get it; Democrats controlling the Senate, House and White House means lights out America forever. But when Mike Lee and the other traitors do this to us, it's kind of difficult for me to get it up for Loeffler and Perdue. And this is not just one issue. This has been the track record of the GOP going back into the Obama years if not further. "We're only three-fifths of two-thirds of on-half of government! Just give us the majority!" How'd that work out for us, specifically the first two years of President Trump's first term?

Yes, we need to control the Senate for all the obvious reasons. But choosing between tyrannical Communist, anti-Semitic, anti-Christian America-hating thugs and criminals or the grifters with the GOP label who make their money playing the fool for the latter whilst aiding and abetting in the dismantling of the nation is Hobsonian at best. Whatever Lin Wood and Sidney Powell are thinking in attacking Perdue and Loeffler, I really do not want to hear Newt Gingrich lecturing us on how that is unhelpful, especially after the precious GOP Senate majority moved ahead at warp speed to open the borders and fuck over the American worker - yet again. And then there's Pee-Air Defecto:

"Well, the attorney general has said there's no there, there. The courts have all looked at the evidence and said there's no evidence there. Now, of course, there will be circumstances where one or two, or a handful, maybe even 100 ballots were incorrectly sent in or counted, and those things get adjusted and get fixed, but the idea of widespread fraud is simply not been shown to us. And if that evidence does exist, please show it to us."

Mitt Romney: you, sir, are scum. The sight of you, the sound of your voice and the mere mentioning of your accursed name induce a gag reflex and violent retching. Oh to hear the children laugh and sing when one day, hopefully soon, the announcement of your death makes the headlines.

Now that I have vented my spleen, it's funny that the previously named rat in question talks about showing the evidence. It's there, evidently caught on tape along with eyewitness testimony from people that are being threatened with and have had actual physical violence visited upon them for coming forward. And just like the first failed coup attempt with the Russia Collusion Hoax/Impeachment Pretext, the more evidence that piled up proving it to be a hoax and that Obama, Clinton et al abused our law enforcement and national security apparatus (with their willing help) to engineer it, the more that comes to light, the more strident is its dismissal and sweeping under the rug.

I'm not going to speculate now on what may or may not happen in the Supreme Court, the state legislatures or perhaps ultimately in the House of Representatives. Well over 74 million Americans have had one of their most precious rights, one central to the very existence of this republic itself - the right to have an honest vote - taken away from them. This on top of the right to worship as, when and how they choose, the right to voice an opinion freely without fear of retribution and the right to earn a living taken from them all on the pretext of a phony health crisis, combined with the mere fact that tech moguls and others control the means of discourse.

This cannot go on. This must not go on. Either there will be justice or there will be retribution. Right now, I'm in the mood for the latter.
