Fox's Views Fall 14% on YouTube; Morning Consult Survey Finds Fox News' Favorability Falls 14% Among Republicans
Remember, that's a poll, and polls have consistently failed to contact Trump voters. (Or, perhaps more accurately: Leftwing pollsters have succeeded in avoiding Trump voters.)
In addition, a friend notes, it's a partisan outfit that seems to run polls to help the Democrats with propaganda.
So the odds are that the Morning Consult is substantially understating the loss of trust in Fox among the GOP, for the same reason Brian Stelter didn't gloat about their ratings drop -- they want to encourage Fox's further "evolution in office" into simple liberals.
Meanwhile, Fox's share of all "partisan right" views on YouTube -- a grouping of thousands of channels -- slipped from 17% to 13%.
In September and October, Fox News’s YouTube channel had about a 17 percent share of all views on what Transparency Tube calls "Partisan Right," a grouping of more than 2,000 channels with more than 10,000 subscribers focused on politics with a highly critical view of Democrats. In the week of Nov. 5-12, that percentage fell to 13 percent.
Overall, Fox News had 67 million views on YouTube that week, which was less than its average of 77 million views per week in October.
By the way: Don't bother clicking on that link. It's a New York Times attack piece on conservatives, defending Fox -- surprise, surprise! -- for its eagerness to call the election for Biden.
