Jake Tapper Appoints Himself Ambassador of the New Era of "Unity" By Threatening the Careers of Trump Supporters If They Don't Get Onboard the Leftwing's Agenda

This isn't my story to tell, so I'll tell it vaguely:

This is not the first time Jake Tapper has done this. I know someone to whom Jake Tapper offered some "friendly advice" to, informing this person privately that criticizing the media and CNN in particular just might result in career damage.

The damage was unspecified, but it seemed to mean that the person would not be welcomed at CNN and certainly would not be offered a "CNN contributor" contract.

The person took this as a not-so-veiled threat.

I have trouble seeing it as anything but that. It's a classic SJW "if you say things I don't like, I will work to blacklist you" threat.

Tapper is offering "friendly advice" that someone might suffer consequences for criticizing the outfit he works for.

This isn't just "advice" when Tapper is one of the people in a position to carry out that threat of retribution.

If a neighboring shopkeeper warns you about the mob's shakedowns, that's a friendly warning.

If the mob warns you about what could happen if you don't pay the street tax, that's a threat.

I wonder how many other conservative-leaning (or at least: conservative-masquerading) people Jake Tapper has offered that friendly little advice to.

I wonder how many "conservatives" have decided to tailor their "brand" according to Jake Tapper's demands that no one criticize the media and especially CNN.

I wonder how many people have stories to tell about Tapper's threats. I wonder how many have Bent the Knee because Fake Jake held out the illusory promise that one day, CNN might hire them.

Something to keep in mind when "conservative" influencers rush to defend CNN and Jake Tapper.

And now, today, Jake Tapper broadcasts the same threat to the world at large.

As someone (a commenter, I think) said: Get ready for Fake Jake to start tweeting about how much he Supports the Troops.

Gentlemen, take us to VETCON 1.
