The Morning Report - 10/14/20

Good morning, kids. Midweek. The sun hasn't even come up and I've got so much blood shooting out of my eyes that if I were in the lounge at the Zima Zizi Hot-Sheet Ho-Tell, I'd've yanked so many tampons out of that Ruth Bader-Meinhoff mural she'd wind up looking like Gabby Hayes. The second day of what is supposed to be a confirmation hearing for a Supreme Court justice nominee was an absolute horror show, not that anyone didn't know that this is exactly what was to be expected. The unmitigated slime ejected from the filthy sewers of the Democrats was bad enough but where were Grassley and Graham with the gavel?! Please, don't hand me this bullshit about "parliamentary procedure" or whatever. That gavel should've been slammed so damned hard and fast that it should've sounded like a drum-off between Chick Webb and Gene Krupa at the Apollo.

I mean, really. Maizie Hirohito - the daughter of Honolulu child pimp - basically accused Amy Coney Barrett of being a rapist?! Kamala Harris, the woman whose career was made with her tongue and lips - and I don't mean speech - essentially called her a liar without even an iota of proof let alone in a manner that even comported with basic civility? Sorry, but I am not down with the idea of letting the Democrats expose themselves as the horrid animals that they are. If you did not know that after Brett Kavanaugh, on top of Miguel Estrada, Janice Rogers Brown, Clarence Thomas and Robert Bork and every other Republican president's nominee since the latter, then your brain function is somewhere between a fern and Joe Biden. As to Graham and Grassly and those wanting to foist the Dems on their own petard, here's a twist; do unto them what they do to us. Bang the damned gavel, silence them, call them out of order and threaten them with removal from the chamber if they persist. That should make for good video.

Look, McConnell and Graham knew this was going to happen and yet they allowed it. It's pointless. Amy Coney Barrett is arguably the most qualified nominee to the SCOTUS since at least Clarence Thomas if not in decades and has already gone through this garbage, albeit a bit more under the radar since it was for a lower court, just three years ago. We know all the Dems are voting "no." What is the fucking point of putting her and her family, as well as decent people everywhere, through this revolting and painful farce? Enter her testimony from three years ago into the record and move this immediately to the full Senate for the vote and confirm her the hell on that damned bench. NOW.

In other news, Project Veritas has dropped another shocking if not unsurprising undercover video report of an Antifa terrorist having orgasmic fantasies of killing people to stop Trump from winning next month. But this cancer is more than just your average brownshirt:

Kris Jacks, a trainer and mentor at Our Revolution protests and a member of the executive committee of the Colorado Democratic Party, made it clear that he will do "everything morally acceptable" to prevent Trump's reelection this year.

"I am going to do everything morally acceptable to win. I will lie. I will cheat. I will steal. Because that's morally acceptable in this political environment. Absolutely. We are pirates on a pirate ship."

Jacks added, "I want to make this point very loudly and very clearly. I said it nicely before, but I'll say it more curtly now. 2020 is a political revolution."

Project Veritas used hidden cameras and microphones to record Jacks speaking openly and graphically about leftist plans to thwart the reelection of the president and possible violent courses of action should Trump be reelected...

Jacks also highlighted the need to activate armed, leftist groups such as the John Brown Gun Club, who draw their inspiration from the failed 1859 slave liberation revolt led by abolitionist John Brown.

"It's incredibly scary," he said. "You know it's gonna be like at that point, you know that's when you gotta find like the John Brown Gun Society people. You know there's gonna be, just look at every -- its history, right?"

Should the situation escalate into outright civil war, Jacks spoke of the need to recruit military veterans to fight for the left.

"Well, when it comes to civil war, violence type stuff there's always military guys, like former guys that stand up for the right thing -- when that time comes, then we gotta get some of those type people involved," he said.

Specifically, to really "change the country with violence," Jacks said it would be necessary for revolutionaries to target billionaires for assassination...

Despite his concerns about moderate Democrats, Jacks made it clear in the video that he believes Joe Biden would cooperate with the agenda of the radical left.

"Joe Biden was presumably left-wing, and he's got a functioning signing hand," Jacks said. "As long as there's progressive legislation that comes across his desk, I am confident we can occupy his house. We know where he'll live, and yeah, he wants to veto Medicare For All. Let him veto it! He's never leaving that house again without protest."

And this insect is a functionary in the Democrat Party. Considering that the Left essentially controls the media, the schools, far too many corporate board rooms a good chunk of government and almost the entire bureaucracy, we take these people lightly at our own peril. This story segues nicely, if not depressingly into this analysis of the times we live in:

First, even if by some miracle, the Dems do not take control of the Presidency and both Houses of Congress in January, it is just a matter of time until they do. The flood of illegal immigration and the brainwashing -- in school and by the media -- continue unabated. It is inevitable that conservative America will be reduced to a voting minority. And then the revolution will be unstoppable.

On the other hand, perhaps I am underestimating the strength, character and wisdom of the American people. I recall vividly the fear I felt in 1967 and 1968 when American cities were burning, a savage war tore at the very fabric of our society, riots determined the selection of a president, and we seemed on the cusp of revolutionary change. It didn't happen. The good sense of the American people prevailed as we restored order and proceeded to rely on our traditional beliefs and values to right the ship. Perhaps we shall again.

It's an excellent read and I do recommend it. That said, the author's feelings of optimism in her last paragraph kind of contradict the reality on the ground in the first. Ugh.
