Quarantine Cafe: Joey the Sea Otter Edition

Joey is a rescued sea otter pup.

He was rescued at just fourteen days old. Here's one of his first feedings.

Here he is being trained to float in water. Even though he's a sea otter, he didn't like water for a while.

Later, he got the hang of it: Joey plays with his toys, while floating on his back. As one does.

After learning to just float and not be scared of the water, his rescuers began teaching him to swim.

Joey wiggles to help you towel him off.

Joey now swims around in his great big enclosure.
