The Morning Report - 9/7/20

Good morning, kids. Happy Labor Day, as we begin another week and the descent into a whole new level of madness. Continuing with the theme from late last week, it is crystal clear, since the enemy themselves are shouting it from every one of their propaganda organs, that the Democrat-Media Complex will not accept any election outcome except one that gives Joe-Kamal the win -- whether Trump wins in a landslide, by the breadth of a red pubic hair or even if it goes to SCOTUS and they vote 5-4 Trump (I strongly advise not to bet on that one).

The nearly four-year long soft coup involving the Obama-Clinton manufactured "Russia collusion scandal" and impeachment circus as well as manufactured media scandals and smears as well as the more insidious insurrection by corrupt judges, bureaucrats and administration embeds has completely failed. Even the attempt to destroy Trump by intentionally strangling the greatest and fastest period of sustained, real economic growth with draconian, tyrannical, anti-Constitutional lockdowns on the pretext of what is now nothing more serious than a bad flu has redounded negatively on the perpetrators. Now, with 100-plus days of rioting which has culminated in murder in our major population centers based on ginned-up racial hatred, we have now, for all intents and purposes, transitioned into a phase that is a hard, violent coup. At the very least it is a pre-hard coup phase depending upon the outcome of the election -- just 57 days out.

After throwing everything at Trump, not only has nothing stuck, but his approval rating stands at around 52%, which is at or above the highest level of his presidency. So, given all that, the sliming of the president by the pathetic, pseudo-intellectual Jeffrey Goldberg in the pages of The Atlantic at first glance seemed like following up an atomic bombing with a cap gun. Yet, even as Trump Derangement Syndrome has made the Left completely crazed, there is perhaps a method on their madness.

Waking up to a news cycle trying to convince you that President Trump does not respect members of the military, or dismisses their sacrifice, should not be viewed as just another poorly sourced hit piece. Even though, according to witnesses, that is precisely what The Atlantic story is. It is the intent of the anonymous sources that should rattle you...

The last requirement [Obama's former ambassador to Russia Michael] McFaul lists is divisions among the regimes' coercive forces. This element is the most dangerous and sinister one on the list. It has also been going on for four years. The intelligence and federal law enforcement apparatus were weaponized against President Trump before the election. Leaks from these agencies have been constant and divisive.

Retired generals have come out against President Trump. Former Defense Secretary General James Mattis openly criticized Pentagon officials and the president for their response to the riots this summer. Former law enforcement officials, including attorneys general, U.S. attorneys, sheriffs, and police chiefs have also come out for Biden.President Trump has generally maintained support from the rank-and-file military as well as law enforcement officers. In fact, several police unions have endorsed him, including the largest, the Fraternal Order of Police.

The recent full-court press is meant to diminish President Trump with the troops. As noted in the war game, Democrats will take drastic action in the case of a loss and wait to see what the military does. This disgusting narrative is meant to encourage them to prefer Biden.

Democrats are actually willing to try and politicize the military, a despicable move, to gain power. You should expect moves to try and ruin his reputation with police officers as well.

We must have a massive in-person voter turnout at the polls to counteract the already-in-progress mail-in ballot swindle. I think we will. Regardless of the media, voter enthusiasm remains off the charts for our side and barely leaving vapor on the mirror for the Dems. There will more than likely be a delay, no matter how clearly Trump might be in the lead when the polls close, in order to count the ballots. Whether they can manufacture enough phony ones to overcome the margin, or if they fail, the rioting we are seeing now, and which is going to escalate and get more violent for the next 57 days will truly erupt the morning after. It is also probably not out of the question that the BLM/Antifa terrorists will deploy to polling places in swing districts that the Dems feel they may lose to do what the New Black Panthers did in 2008, which Chinless Holder refused to prosecute (I'm sensing a pattern here, no?).

The question is, what will the military do in response? Given all the phony propaganda about Trump is literally Hitler, will have to be arrested and dragged out of the Oval Office when Biden "wins" and so forth, coupled with top brass' open hatred of Trump, if he attempts to invoke the Insurrection Act or call to nationalize the Guard to quell the violence (something the generals have drawn a bright red line about him doing), will they use that as a pretext to confirm the "literally Hitler" meme and move against him? What will the NCOs and buck privates do?

I am not necessarily worried about the election or even the mail-in voting plot. I think Trump will win and handily via the polls (and don't be surprised if Quack-Quack Fauci warns that the upcoming normal fall/winter flu season will make the Peking Pox mutate into the Andromeda Strain to keep us in fear, at home and away from the polls). Even David Harsanyi, who is not exactly a Trump booster, is getting the willies.

In their "war game" scenarios, however, it's the Democrats who refuse to accept the will of courts to adhere to the constitutionally prescribed system rather than hysteria, and it's the Democrats who wishcast the wholly imaginary "popular vote" into existence.

One of the scenarios, we learn, "doesn't look that different from 2016" -- a contest in which, it must be pointed out, not one vote has been proven to be uncounted or altered. In that outcome, America is confronted with "a big popular win for Mr. Biden, and a narrow electoral defeat." In the real world, incidentally, that scenario is called a "Trump victory."

In the fictional war game, however, John Podesta, playing the role of Biden, contends that his party won't let him concede the race and instead alleges "voter suppression" -- the catchall go-to every time a Democrat loses -- and persuades the Democratic governors of Trump-won states such as Wisconsin and Michigan to send pro-Biden electors to the Electoral College.

In the meantime, California, Oregon and Washington threaten to secede from the union if Trump takes office. The Democratic House unilaterally names Biden president. "At that point in the scenario," The New York Times' Ben Smith explains, "the nation stopped looking to the media for cues, and waited to see what the military would do."

This scenario is what a real-life "coup" might resemble. It is, needless to say, utterly insane that Democrats would destroy the nation's longstanding and peaceful transition because they refuse to accept the mandated process of electing the president. All of which is to say the proactive -- and retroactive -- delegitimization of the Trump presidency has been a successful four-year project...
