Trump Orders Federal Funding Cut from All "Anarchist Cities"

The North did not subsidize the Rebel South during the last Civil War.

Why are we forced to pay money to jurisdictions in a state of insurrection?

President Trump is ordering the federal government to begin the process of defunding New York City and three other cities where officials allowed "lawless" protests and cut police budgets amid rising violent crime, The Post can exclusively reveal.

Trump on Wednesday signed a five-page memo ordering all federal agencies to send reports to the White House Office of Management and Budget that detail funds that can be redirected.

New York City, Washington, DC, Seattle and Portland are initial targets as Trump makes "aw and order" a centerpiece of his reelection campaign after months of unrest and violence following the May killing of George Floyd by Minnesota police.

"My Administration will not allow Federal tax dollars to fund cities that allow themselves to deteriorate into lawless zones," Trump says in the memo, which twice mentions New York Mayor Bill de Blasio by name.

"To ensure that Federal funds are neither unduly wasted nor spent in a manner that directly violates our Government's promise to protect life, liberty, and property, it is imperative that the Federal Government review the use of Federal funds by jurisdictions that permit anarchy, violence, and destruction in America's cities."

To prove that New York is not a lawless state, Governor Nipple-Clamps Cuomo did the expected, prudent thing: He threatened the president's life, and/or said that New York was so lawless that the savages living there would kill Trump if he visited.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Wednesday all but threatened President Trump's safety if he returns to New York City in a rant responding to an exclusive story by The Post that Trump is looking to pull federal funds from "lawless" cities including New York.

Cuomo called an emergency press briefing within a half hour on Wednesday night to tear into Trump for the order, which cites New York’s rising murder rate and defunding of the NYPD.

"He better have an army if he thinks he’s gonna walk down the street in New York. New Yorkers don't want to have anything to do with him," the Democrat said, all but threatening the commander in chief.

But Cuomo, who like Trump hails from Queens, wasn’t done. "He can't have enough bodyguards to walk through New York City, people don’t want to have anything to do with him."

Prediction: NeverTrump traitors will ignore this threat on the president's life to fret about what really matters: Trump's Tweets.

You know why they care so much about Trump's Tweets, right?

I barely ever see Trump's tweets. Because I don't fucking live my fucking life on Twitter the way this Collection of Winners at Life does.

Trump's Tweets bother them so much because he's defiling their true home.

Their physical home isn't their home. Their physical friends, if any exist, are not their actual friends.

Twitter is their true home and random accumulations of pixels and smugness on Twitter are their real friends.

And sex...? Well, I don't think most of them have sex, but to the extent they do, I bet there's a lot of Hot NeverTrump on NeverTrump Action in DMs, with a lot of moaning about "Muh Principles" and a lot of ecstatic shrieking about "Sacred Values."

Also: I bet that Poop Play is heavily in the mix for most of them.

So yeah, this really, really, rilly rilly matters to them.

Every Trump Tweet is a dagger in their bloated, diseased hearts. Every Trump Tweet is a black mark on the shining city on the hill... which is to say, Twitter City.

But yes, they'll ignore Cuomo's threat (or kissing cousin of a threat) in order to whine that Trump misspelled "Hiden'" in "Joe Hiden'."

Trump's tweets are everything, Andrew Cuomo's "Mouth-Tweets" mean nothing, because they're not uttered in their Holy Hugbox of Twitter Conformity.

They're only uttered in the dirty, imperfect meatspace world. Not the pristine higher world of likes and snapbacks which is Twitter.

(I'm going for a Gnosticism reference, but I'm not finding the words. So I figured I'd just make life easier for myself and tell you what I'm trying to say.)
