The Morning Report - 8/27/20

Good morning kids. Thursday and before anything, Hurricane Laura slammed into Louisiana as a category 4 storm. Prayers for everyone in its path. Please stay safe, and I mean that in a real, non-phony pandemic poseur way.

On to the big stories. The penultimate night of the Republican National Convention outdid even the previous two. I don't think I've ever witnessed an election season and conventions that so powerfully crystallized what is going on and who we are dealing with. Everything in the past, with very few exceptions, was pro forma, kabuki political theater. But when you look and listen to the speakers not just from these conventions, but from the everyday events over the years, especially the mayhem of today, it is a literal comparison of truth and lies. And now, this election is life and death because it is life versus death. There were so many powerful speakers, because they each had the power of life-changing, life-shaping and ultimately life-affirming stories that resonate now more than ever.

Two in particular stand out, in this regard, first from Sister Dede Byrne of the Little Workers of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary:

"As a physician, I can say, without hesitation, life begins at conception," she said. "While what I have to say may be difficult for some to hear, I am saying it because I'm not just pro-life, I'm pro-eternal life, and I want all of us to end up in heaven together someday."

"Which brings me to why I'm here today. Donald Trump is the most pro-life President that this nation has ever had, defending life at all stages," she continued. "His belief in the sanctity of life transcends politics. President Trump will stand up against Biden-Harris, who are the most anti-life presidential ticket ever, even supporting the horrors of late-term abortion and infanticide."

Another was from Michael McHale, the president of the National Association of Police Organizations.

"Joe Biden has turned his candidacy over to the far left, anti-law enforcement radicals," McHale noted. "And as a senator, Kamala Harris pushed to further restrict police, cut their training, and make our American communities and streets even more dangerous than they already are."

"Conversely, President Trump supports the creation of a national standard for training on de-escalation and communication to give officers more tools to resolve conflict without violence," McHale said.

"The differences between Trump/Pence and Biden/Harris are crystal clear," McHale claimed. "Your choices are the most pro-law enforcement president we've ever had or the most radical anti-police ticket in history."

In concluding his speech, McHale invited the American people to "join the hundreds of thousands of members of the National Association of Police Organizations and support the re-election of President Donald J. Trump."

Others included the great coach Lou Holtz, paralyzed Congressional candidate Madison Cawthorn who stands while the drooling thug submoron millionaire pituitary cases of the NBA and MLB mindlessly bow down to Chi-Com Nazi thuggery, Marsha Blackburn for exposing the Leftists plans for eternal house arrest, Ric Grenell with a truth nuke on globalism's sucking America dry for 50-plus years, and many others.

Finally, Mike Pence delivered an outstanding acceptance speech that was measured and confident as well as a stinging rebuke of the Biden-Harris 5-year plan to Make America Kolyma Forever. He's no Donald Trump, but at least last night he delivered powerfully and in perfect pitch. If the Dems think the Jamaican jerk-off can outdebate Pence and try to distract when Biden refuses to come out of the basement, they're in for a shock. Just ask Tim Kaine. A final observation which touches on Pence and the future of the GOP, we are seeing so many great new young candidates that if as I hope they remain true to Trumpism will be unstoppable. It also is an indicator that there are many more young people in the general populace just like them that I thought didn't exist. Despite the brainwashing mills, the agitprop on TV and film and everything else, they're still out there and ready to help pick up the flag when the older generation, like myself (wow) are already facing the sunset.

I cannot wait for tonight. And so that brings us to the chaos, violence and destruction unleashed on us from the Democrats and their goon squads from BLM and Antifa. While the ashes and rubble are still bouncing in Kenosha, now with the evidence that there was indeed a weapon in the form of a knife in the miscreant's car on top of the fact that he was resisting arrest and was known to be a violent offender, back to wonderful Minneapolis where a black suspect evidently killed himself after being arrested. That of course was the signal to start looting again because as we all know, the police are essentially death camp guards out to wipe out black people. It's so obvious /sarc.

So now, if a cop so much as looks at a black person funny, it will be considered a justified pretext to riot, loot and commit acts of mayhem, any time, anywhere. Yet woe betide anyone who does not raise the BLM "heil bro!" salute/fist and plead for mercy for being an "enemy of the state" of terror let alone Kyle Rittenhouse, who unlike the Gentle Giant meth addict criminal Mike Brown was actually fleeing for his life when he was forced to kill in self-defense, is being readied to be railroaded. The Democrat-Media Complex is failing, and horribly. As I and others had stated in the wake of the original Minneapolis incident now three months ago, the insurrection not only has failed to turn voters against Trump, it has more than likely swung a lot of voters - even Democrats - minimally to sit out Election Day and perhaps even vote for Trump. But still they will persist, because they are praying for Trump to send in troops and then create a Kent State incident. Poor Kyle Rittenhouse might be it, but there is a ton of evidence to show him as the victim but given the state of our judicial system, he's in for a rough ride. But I think Trump is not going to play that game.

America is being set up, and President Trump knows it. That's why he's refrained from sending federal troops into rioting Democrat cities. If just one federal soldier pulls the trigger on charging rioters, the warm-up act we're witnessing will end, and the Second Civil War will officially begin.

By holding fire, Trump's making the riots a Democrat-on-Democrat war. At some point, he'll have to impose order, but he's waiting until the American people can understand that whatever happens is solely the Democrats' fault.

The Democrats look to be facing their Gotterdammerung. It's more than tragic what they are doing to us, all in the lust for power. It is evil.
