The Morning Report - 8/18/20

Good morning kids. Tuesday and in case you missed it, or didn't even realize it was happening, last night was the kickoff of the Democrat National Convention. Due to the imposed imprisonment of the nation due to the Chinese Lung AIDS - which featured prominently and bizarrely as I will get to in a moment - the event was a melange of pre-recorded messages and live segments. The theme for this circus is delusion and deception. From my perspective, it was a complete fiasco and if anything, it rang even phonier than the Styrofoam columns at the 2008 convention to choose their Styrofoam candidate. Only in this instance, the Democrats weren't necessarily trying to fool the American people: they were trying to fool themselves. And in this I think they failed, and miserably.

For the past three months (on top of the past five or more decades), the Democrats have not only demonized America as founded and all of us as evil, illegitimate and irredeemably racist, they've committed acts of violence, terrorism and insurrection to destroy it and take it over. They've extolled the virtues of communism and demonized freedom and free market capitalism, turned criminals into victims and vice versa, attempted to muzzle all opposition as our history is erased, monuments are toppled, Jews and Christians are persecuted and those who burn our flag and kneel when our National Anthem is played are venerated.

Yet, look at how they opened their convention - the Pledge of Allegiance, the playing of the Star Spangled Banner and a priest with an opening prayer in Jesus' name. In the face of the aforementioned, one has to wonder how they are going to square that circle with their base of true believers?

Despite the reassurances of Bernie Sanders that the Biden-Harris team will be the most progressive in history, which in point of fact, the farshimmelt paskudnyak for once in his miserable life isn't lying, how does one explain the disaffection of individuals such as Sanders' own campaign co-chair Nina Turner who compared voting for Joe Biden to "eating dog shit," or Rancida Taliban who not only stated she won't endorse Biden but she's a "no" vote on the Democrat Party's platform? And then there's the allotting of only 60 seconds for brain dead Bolshevik bug-eyed big-boobed booby Donkey-Chompers Ocasio Cortez while the party gives RINO frauds like Kasich prime speaking positions? Former candidate Marianne "5150" Williamson was not amused and "compared the Democrat National Convention (DNC) to 'binge watching a Marriott commercial' and blasted its lack of policy prescriptions to issues facing the United States." While the former is true, she still blasted the party for supposedly sidelining Bernie and the progs. Did she not hear his ringing endorsement of and exhortations to vote for Biden, let alone the earlier Molotov-Ribbentrop pact wherein they got the Good Gulagkeeping seal of approval for taking on board all their commie garbage policy positions?
Whatever internal warfare is still going on between the far-left and insanely-far-left factions, it is clear that there are still some at the top who know full well that this does not go down well with real Americans.

And that brings me back to my reference of the Chinese Lung AIDS. Andrew "the Angel of Death" Cuomo went on an utterly delusional rant that was so void of fact and divorced from reality that you just shook your head. To deflect or excuse away the blame for what happened in New York is one thing, and even to attempt to blame the President is perhaps understandable. But for Cuomo to go on national television and canonize himself is just beyond the pale. And to top it off, he acted as a Chi-Com propaganda mouthpiece, during what is supposed to be a national convention of an American political party:

"The European virus infected the Northeast while the White House was still fixated on China," Cuomo said. "The virus had been attacking us for months before they even knew it was here."

While the coronavirus spread from China to the rest of the world earlier this year, the Chinese government launched a propaganda campaign to obscure its origins and even accused U.S. servicemen of bringing the virus into the country. Democrats have pushed back on the Trump administration's attempts to pin responsibility on China, arguing it was "racist" to refer to the novel disease as the "China virus"...

Seriously, is this cocksucker for real?! Michael Goodwin noted:

Another clash of politics vs reality was letting Gov. Cuomo posture as the champion of fighting the virus. Some 20 percent of all American deaths took place in New York, and the governor's directive requiring nursing homes to take infected patients helped spread the killer disease among the most vulnerable patients.

Yet there was Cuomo declaring, "our way succeeded" and adding such oddities as, "it was beautiful" and "love wins." The only thing missing was his meatball recipe...

To cap it all off, there was Mitchell Obama, the barely literate (per Christopher Hitchens) she-thing beard of the ex-president who does what she does best; berate the nation for all of the terrible indignities she had to suffer such as an affirmative action degree from Princeton and a $300,000 a year no-show job kicking sick ghetto people out of emergency rooms. Oh the humanity, the poor dear.

And we still have three more nights to go, presumably with Joe Biden's acceptance speech from his basement somewhere in the state of MBNA. Or perhaps Kiev.

I think the Democrats are screwed. The only thing they have is trying to steal the election via the Mail-In Voting scam, or at least screw the whole thing up so badly that they set the whole nation on fire, and not just inner-city Democrat hell-holes.
