"I'm going to now direct this at Vice President Biden. I do not believe you are a racist," Harris declared before going on to call Biden exactly that.

"I also believe -- and it's personal and it was hurtful to hear you talk about the reputations of two United States senators who built their reputations and career on the segregation of race in this country. And it was not only that, but you also worked with them to oppose busing," Harris said. "There was a little girl in California who was part of the second class to integrate her public schools, and she was bused to school everyday. And that little girl was me."

Philip Bump claims that the "I'm not calling you a racist" was completely sincere -- even though she then went on to accuse him of providing aid and comfort to segregationists, and trying to bully her from attending an integrated school -- and that this is in fact such a clearly-provable fact that any claims that she called Biden a racist are objectively "false" claims.

Meanwhile, the New York Times has done its own fact-checking and they've decided that Kamala Harris is a "pragmatic moderate," though they might later have to deem her a "committed progressive" if she gets attacked by the left as a "cop" as she was attacked during the primaries:
