The Anti-Trump Left Pulls Out All The Stops With Their Lies About The President's Mt. Rushmore Speech: "Divisive," Racial Division," "Flouts Virus Rules," "Ominous"
Apparently They Didn't Read It!
"Große Lüge," a big lie. Sound familiar? Hitler and Goebbels understood it and used it, and the American media, whoring for the Democrat party is an enthusiastic user of this anti-freedom technique to manipulate public opinion.
Or maybe they just didn't read it and used the talking points that the DNC sent them. Because they are catastrophically wrong about its tone and intent. Just read it for yourself!
A Magnificent Speech
The president’s speech was a passionate celebration of American freedom and American greatness—a greatness, he noted, that was embodied by the sublime majesty of the heads of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Teddy Roosevelt sculpted into the granite pinnacle of Mt. Rushmore.
Our nation is witnessing a merciless campaign to wipe out our history, defame our heroes, erase our values, and indoctrinate our children. Angry mobs are trying to tear down statues of our founders, deface our most sacred memorials, and unleash a wave of violent crime in our cities. Many of these people have no idea why they are doing this, but some know exactly what they are doing. They think the American people are weak and soft and submissive. But no, the American people are strong and proud, and they will not allow our country, and all of its values, history, and culture, to be taken from them.
The Left's mouthpiece on 43rd street (The Whore Of 43rd?) is particularly vile...
His ominous remarks were a reflection of his political standing: trailing in the polls, lacking a booming economy or a positive message to campaign on, and leaning on culture wars to buoy his loyalists.
They embrace the polls, in spite of their rather poor record from 2016, they ignore the most current employment report that suggests a rapid return to economic health, and they can't stomach the idea that Americans like to be reminded that we have a great nation. As for culture wars? Defending Western culture and American Exceptionalism is anathema to the elites of the Upper West Side, if they even understand it.
I see the same old and tired techniques that are falling on increasingly deaf ears. Even Alinsky said that "A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag." The NYT and its ilk in the big blue cities need to move on to something a little more interesting, or they risk an America that tunes them out and tunes in to a president whose love for America and Americans is obvious.
