Welcome, Evergreen State College Class of 2024!
Paramount has cancelled Cops. Because Hi, you're now in the Chinese Cultural Revolution.
Apparently George Floyd was a royal. Got his coffin pulled by white horses and everything.
We all have to pretend that this career criminal and general scumbag is some kind of hero, because, again, you're living in the Chinese Cultural Revolution now.
George Floyd's funeral was broadcast on all TV networks (including Fox, the Fair and Balanced Alternative).
David Dorn's funeral was not. And there were no white horses leading the funeral procession. But I am happy to see he had a big turnout:
The people most insulated against cancellation -- that is, people working for allegedly conservative magazines and organizations -- are the people who are most eager to repeat the pieties of the hard left. They are in a position to be defiant, with very little adverse consequences, but of course they choose the path of cowardice.
Can't risk that still-could-happen Atlantic deal!
Speaking of, Marco Rubio, the avatar of the neoliberal National Review pseudoconservative, running around like Iraqis after the bombardment of Desert Storm, looking for cameramen to surrender to:
Nothing discourages a terrorist force like repeating their dogmas in an act of submission. We learned that with Islamic terrorists. Everytime they blew something up, cowardly clowns like Marco Rubio (and various Bushes) ran to the cameras to insist, against all reasonableness, that Islam meant peace.
Now rich white and poor black fascist nihilist droogs are taking over police stations and conducting punitive raids into supermarkets and the same Legion of Heroes we call the "conservative" leadership thinks the way to stop this movement in its tracks is to flatter it and kneel to it and repeat its key propaganda points.
