David French and The Bulwark Declare Conservative Senator Tom Cotton Guilty of Conspiracy to Commit War Crimes Due to His Saying That Rioters and Looters Should be Given "No Quarter"
Senator Tom Cotton -- who the left, and the NeverTrump pseudoright, despises, because he's an actual conservative -- said that looters and rioters should be given "no quarter."
The left immediately began claiming that he'd committed an actual war crime, because "no quarter" means, literally, you will not give "quarter" (mercy) to surrending hostile forces.
They overlooked the fact that "give them no quarter" has meant "give them relentless, unyielding pressure or force" for about two hundred years, and has not literally meant "no surrender allowed" since the last fucking Conan the Barbarian story.
But the leftwing had a Hot Take on their hands, and so you know who joined right in?
Why, the very conservative David French of the very conservative (and leftist funded) Dispatch, and verious Assistant Swabbies of the very conservative (and leftist funded) Bulwark.
You can tell these people are very conservative they way they always attack actual conservatives using attack lines plagiarized from leftwing twitter lunatics.
Wow. Nine posts spent claiming "no quarter" had no other possible meaning -- no commonly used meaning as a figure of speech -- except to urge committing war crimes.
Nine posts.
Nine posts, and this filty leftwing closet case didn't check his own fucking history of using the term "no quarter:"
The leftist-funded DNC propaganda organ "The Bulwark" is pushing the idea that Tom Cotton has committed a war crime, naturally:
That fat fuck's giving no quarter to his waistline.
