I've always loved mid-century modern houses. My current house is a MCMish design, although our décor is not. In my perfect world, the cities would be art deco and the suburbs MCM. I'm not sure why, maybe it's just because 60s America seems like a golden time (minus the leftist rot which was just taking root). I know that it wasn't, no age truly is, but it is mythologized in my mind that way. I mean, who wouldn't want to live in Ronald Reagan's California? This is a lovely house, and frankly, I think the owner got a steal at $1 mil. (Obligatory caveat about modern day Commiefornia)

I'm worried. Oh, we haven't reached Days of Rage level social disruption yet, but I fear we've crested the hill and can now see it from where we are. In the past week two everyday normal conservatives that I know have been forced off Twitter by determined doxing attacks. One was a normal suburban lady who happened to say that she didn't like Land O' Lakes decision to take the Indian off of their packaging and would be buying another brand of butter from now on. This simple statement so incensed the rabid lefties that they attacked her en masse, hounded and doxed her right off the platform. I'm not sure what the other guy said but he posted that his boss was getting calls demanding he be fired (I think he said something about the Karens) and he was deleting his account. I'm glad these people are getting a taste of their own medicine (actually, from what I can tell they haven't, yet, but they are worried that they will), but I don't see this ending well for the country.
