Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) argued Wednesday that many Americans should protest economic insecurity by refusing to work after coronavirus-related restrictions are lifted.

"When we talk about this idea of reopening society, you know, only in America does the president -- when the president tweets about liberation -- does he mean go back to work. When we have this discussion about going back or reopening, I think a lot people should just say 'no' -- we’re not going back to that," she said.

"We're not going back to working 70-hour weeks just so that we could put food on the table and not even feel any sort of semblance of security in our lives."

Well, the UN is now warning of "global famines" of "Biblical proportions" within months of not working.

The world is facing multiple famines of "biblical proportions" in just a matter of months, the UN has said, warning that the coronavirus pandemic will push an additional 130 million people to the brink of starvation.

Famines could take hold in "about three dozen countries" in a worst-case scenario, the executive director of the World Food Programme (WFP) said in a stark address on Tuesday. Ten of those countries already have more than 1 million people on the verge of starvation, he said.

Of course, that's what Alexandria Donkey-Chompers wants -- the environmental lunatics are big on a Thanos-like snap of half (or more) of humans out of existence.
