Threadjacking And Other No-Nos

Ace is an amazingly laid-back host, and tolerates the wild west atmosphere around here with impressive equanimity. Does anyone know of another place in the intertubes that has this combination of social commentary, trenchant analysis, lesbian pron and absolutely world-class snark?

Ace is astoundingly prolific...how he does it is open to discussion. Maybe it's the fasting, the shelving, the fur-lined Crocs, but whatever it is, it works out great for all of us. [So kick in a few bucks if you can!]

But to fill in the gaps he has cobloggers and open bloggers and moderators to help out with running the blog. So please respect the few informal guidelines, such as about staying on topic, in particular with open blogger posts. These folks work hard and don't even have the dental plan; ease up on the threadjacking. It's just rude.

In addition, because of the significant increase in troll activity, try not to engage the obvious ones...the cobloggers and moderators will get to them eventually.

As for blowing the margins? Use tinyurl or one of the other ways to shorten links. People reading on PCs probably don't even notice when the margins are blown, but folks on tablets and phones do. It's also one of the few things that irritates Ace, so be aware!

And now we return to our regularly scheduled post, which in the absence of content is an open thread and flame war, with a soupçon of guns, boobies, awful fish puns and maybe a limerick or five. Just no talk of Sino Lung Rot...it's boring. Although...maybe a competition for the most irreverent name for it would be fun...
