Will There Be a Democrat Civil War?

I don't know if there'll be a civil war or just the short sharp shock of the party admitting they've always longed for the gallows.

I think the great majority of the party is in fact socialist, but just lies about it. (Maybe including to themselves.)

The only group of Democrats who aren't socialist are the billionaire corporatists who donate huge sums to the Democrats every year so they can beat the shit out of conservatives, and then come begging to conservatives to keep all their crony corporatist deals in place.

They pay Democrats to take our freedom away, and then we insanely prioritize protecting their freedom.

And then we all go, "That's the Conservative Way (TM)."

Whatever.

The Big Democrat Money may well sit out, but I think most Democrats will very quickly accommodate themselves to voting for Bernie Sanders.

For example: San Fran Nan says she's quite comfortable embracing socialism.

Well, we always knew that. But why did you lie about it for 30 years?

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Wednesday said she would be comfortable with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) as the Democratic presidential nominee in November.

The congresswoman was asked the question as she was leaving a closed-door meeting in the House basement Wednesday morning.

She replied with one word: "Yes."

In fact, NeverTrumpers -- "True Conservatives" and "Real Libertarians" who oppose socialism, in theory -- are already declaring that they'd support Bernie Sanders, or at least making arguments explaining why America Has Nothing to Fear From a Socialist President.

Here's David French pulling the same David French bullshit he pulled in 2016-- "I don't support Hillary Clinton. I'm just saying, there's nothing to worry about if she wins."

Very few people are true libertarians. Some claimed libertarians are really conservatives with a libertarian leaning; many/most "libertarians" are fairly standard liberals with some libertarian leanings. Like, they'll support a 80% tax rate, but not 95%. Because that would be "anti-freedom."

I think "libertarians" supporting a socialist are just admitting they're straight-up lefties and just wear the libertarian label like some people wear Attitude Glasses, fashion eyeglasses with no corrective lenses. It's a pose.
