Jussie Smollett INDICTED

Jussie Smollett has already been targeted by two different hate groups: A pair of MAGA-Hat wearing entrepreneurs in a startup Clothesline-and-Bleach distribution operation, and a pair of Nigerian bodybuilder gangsters with a grudge against Subway restaurant patrons.

And now this poor man is targeted by an Illinois grand jury.

Shame! Shame!

Smollett, 37, was indicted by special prosecutor Dan Webb, who was appointed by a Cook County judge to continue looking into his false allegations after the Cook County State’s Attorney Office dropped all charges against the actor, a source close to Smollett told ABC news.

Meanwhile, the Obama-connected Soros-funded corrupt prosecutor who let Jussie Smollett off is running for reelection.

The hard-left Chicago Sun-Times actually endorsed her for reelection, despite her only credential being favor-bank corruption.

It takes a reader to state the obvious:

The Sun-Times endorsement of Kim Foxx for Cook County State's Attorney was not a surprise. What was surprising was the endorsement’s admission that Foxx "should not have allowed (actor Jussie) Smollett to walk" until he admitted in writing that he had made up the story of a hate-crime attack.

Your editorial also conceded: "The police deserved better than that."

If Foxx is elected, how comfortable will the police be when they must work with her on cases involving politically-connected people?

The endorsement continued: "Foxx should have hung up the phone on any politically connected attorney trying to plead the actor’s case." We now know the "attorney" was Tina Tchen, former chief of staff for Michelle Obama. Can the Sun-Times assure police that Foxx will indeed hang up on the next "politically connected attorney" who calls?

Update to Last Story: The fourth Rogue Angry Democrat Prosecutor has resigned and joined in the next politico-media operation to get yet another investigation going.

Does everyone realize that Trump has had a Special Counsel investigation on him for two and a half years, then just a month of relative peace before Schiff and Nadler started the Fake Impeachment investigation?

And now they're trying to get another Special Counsel investigation. If/when that is refused, they'll use that as a pretext to open another Fake Impeachment Inquiry.

They are literally attempting to make it so that Trump spends virtually every month of his first four year term -- and then every month of his second four year term -- under vaguely-defined free-ranging criminal investigation.

They are rewriting the Constitution so that President Trump -- and I guess any other future president who upsets the Deep State -- will have a Permanent Court of Inquisition on eternal fishing expeditions open at all times.

I hope Bill Barr reviews Janet Reno's explanation as to why she needed no Special Counsel to investigate allegations involving she herself.

She decided that she was impartial enough to decide that no further investigation into her decisions was warranted.

The mere assertions Clinton or Vice President Gore were "involved" in soliciting or receiving possibly improper donations, or contributors met with the president and benefited from government decisions, "fall far short of the sort of specific facts" necessary to trigger appointment of an independent counsel, Richard wrote.

"To the extent that there are allegations that may warrant criminal investigation at this time, they relate only to lower-ranking public officials, DNC employees and contributors," the letter said.

"Mere assertions." Remember those words.
