DIY, Tools, Hacks, And All Of The Other Weird Things We Do...
Come on...tell the truth. You have done something like this once or twice.
So regale us with your stories of spectacular failures, and yes, the occasional success too.
I'll start with a silly one: I have a hallway that saw a fair amount of traffic soon after it was painted, and the walls were just a bit scuffed for my taste. Nothing terrible, but I noticed it. I had the paint, or so I thought, and went merrily painting over the scuffs and scratches. The wet paint matched perfectly, and I had that lovely, smug and superior feeling that everything was just hunky-dory!
Of course the paint was the wrong can, and when it dried there were dozens of streaks and patches across both walls...just one shade off!
