According to Russia Today -- discount as required -- the former Ukranian president who fired the prosecutor Shokin on Joe Biden's command is being investigated for embezzlement-- supposedly of US aid to Ukraine.

Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau has opened a probe against former president, Petro Poroshenko, who is suspected of abuse of power, embezzlement “on a grand scale” and allegedly stealing US aid funds.

Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) that the question of having additional witnesses is settled, and the Senate will vote Friday to wrap up the impeachment trial of President Trump.

Cory Gardner, a moderate/establishment liberal, has stated that he does not seen the need for additional witnesses and can judge this "trial" on the record as it stands.

An informed friend speculated that Garnder might be telling his fellow moderates, "You're jeopardizing my reelection by dicking around with an unpopular, partisan sham impeachment."

Sorry again. I made a low-carb lasagna (without noodles), and I thought that would just take 40 minutes. It didn't. It took like 90 minutes.

And then when I realized how late it was and went to post, the oven started smoking up a storm. I put too much lasagna in the pan and the hot oil/meat fat kept dripping down to the oven's floor and smoking.
