Legendary Rush Drummer and Lyricist Neil Peart Dies at 67, of Brain Cancer

These classic rock guys are going to start dying at the rate of about one per month.

It's not going to be great.

There's a good documentary about Rush's last tour that's worth a watch. If I remember right, Neil Peart's health problems -- which I think were just about arthritis due to a lifetime of pounding drums -- was a major reason they toured less and less frequently.

"His shoulders were hurting, his arms were hurting, his elbows, his feet – everything"" Lifeson said. "He didn't want to play anything less than 100 percent. He was finding it increasingly difficult to hit that mark on this last tour. So, all those things combined, I get it."

Though maybe he was also battling cancer, but they chose not to mention that in the documentary.
