No, I don't have any idea who she is.
No movie thread is scheduled for today. We will have a fishing thread up later. As always, the chess/dress pr0n thread is an open thread, so there is no such thing as an off-topic comment.

All of Black's moves are forced, so the decision tree is just a thin stick:
1.Qxf8+ Kxf8
2.Re8+ Kg7
3.Rg8#

White's strategy is to win the bishop He can't take it right away because then ...Rb3 would pin his queen. So a little prep work must be done first:
1.Rc5!
This puts Black in a pickle. He's got three choicesa
#1: 1...Qb3 2.Qxa5+ Kb8 3.Qc7+ Ka7 4.Ra5# so this line is no good
#2: 1...Qb6 2.Rxa5+ Kb8 3.Qg8+ Qd8 4.Qxd8# also no good.
1...Qb4 is best. There follows:
2. Rxa5+ Kb6
Not 2...Kb8?? 3.Qg8+ Qf8 4.Qxf8#
3.Ra4 Qb3
(3...Qb5? 4.Qxb2 wins the bishop outright)
4.Qxb2 Qxb2+
5.Kxb2 Rd2+
6.Rc2 Rd1
It is disadvantages for Black to trade rooks.
7. Rb4+ Ka6
8. Rc1 Rd2+
9. Rc2 Rd1
10. Rc8
Threatening Ra8#
10...b5
11.Rb8 and wins
This one was a toughie.
Hope to see you all next week!

Note: that cryptic line of letters and numbers you see underneath each board diagram is a representation of the position in what is known as "Forsyth-Edwards Notation", or F.E.N. It's actually readable by humans. Most computer applications nowadays can read FEN, so those of you who may want to study the position, you can copy the line of FEN and paste into your chess app and it should automatically recreate the position on its display board. Or, Windows users can just "triple click" on it and the entire line will be highlighted so you can copy and paste it into your chess app.
