The Morning Report - 12/19/19

whathesaid.jpg

Good morning kids. What's done is done. The Democrat Party, egged on by their handlers or mouthpieces (however you look at it) in the propagandist media and demanded of by an intractable, inflexible insane base pulled the trigger and voted to impeach President Trump on charges so completely baseless and void of any grounding in reality. It will be noted that two Democrats, Jeff Van Drew and Collin Peterson voted with the Republicans against impeachment, while that exemplar of courage and moral rectitude Tulsi "Coffeecake" Gabbard bravely voted to abstain. Bravo, darling. Worse for them yet, Van Drew is jumping ship to the GOP. If it's a political stunt, I've never heard of anyone wanting to switch from being in the majority to the minority. In any case, the Democrats got their bipartisan vote. Right in the head.

Yet, with all the geschrei and gnashing of teeth about how solemn this is, how Trump must be impeached lest he declare himself emperor or how all of this is akin to freeing the slaves, the Battle of the Bulge and giving women the vote, it seems as if Nancy Pelosi is considering not sending the articles up to the Senate for a trial. That is unless Mitch McConnell agrees to yank his own penis out of his nose and stick his head in an oven by allowing the Democrats to do in the Senate what they did in the House; run a rigged show trial so beyond the pale as to make Socialist icons Lavrenty Beria and Roland Freisler blush with embarrassment. Of course, that is a non-starter. Kevin McCarthy (who to be honest I am very leery of considering his past history with Eric Cantor, John Boehner and Paul Ryan) seems to be showing signs of backbone, even promising expunging the impeachment in an anticipated GOP takeover of the House in January of 2021. That prospect grows more and more possible as a result of this unmitigated travesty and figurative head-stomping of the American people as well as the President's record of success. In spite of all he has endured even from the likes of his own party, he is setting a pace to become one of the most successful presidents in terms of his accomplishments for the American people in a century, if not our history. I think the Democrats last night guaranteed Trump's re-election. The question is not only what the margin of victory will be, but the longer the continue with this madness, it will be how large of a landslide will it be and how big are his coattails?

I'll not go into the garbage that was spewed last night in this ugly, horrible episode. There are a couple of nuggets below for those needing an emetic. I will conclude by saying the damage they have done with this is incalculable. When you add it to the fact that virtually every problem and every heinous episode and period in our history, every bit of legislation or action that has caused the American people pain, misery and poverty of both the economic variety and of the soul lays directly at the feet of the Democrat Party, its leadership, politicians and those who continue to support it. By now making no bones about shredding the Constitution and perverting our political system, Constitutional firewalls and traditions to subvert the will of the people and accrue absolute power, they are a de-facto internal enemy and a direct threat to the survival of this republic. How we who oppose them and seek to preserve and G-d-willing restore whatever shred of the nation as founded we can, are to deal with this is now up for debate. G-d help us, G-d damn them and G-d bless America. The real America.
