Active Shooter Situation in Jersey City;
Cops Describe Shooting as an "Ambush;"
Terrorism Suspected

Harris Faulkner just reported that there is a suspicion that a coffee pot the perp is carrying is actually an IED.

He's also carrying a long gun.

At least one officer has been shot. But he's described as hurt, and is at the hospital.

Update: That first cop was shot in the shoulder, but another cop was shot in the head, and is in critical condition.

The situation is fluid and information is developing rapidly; one law enforcement source described the attack as an "ambush," and said at least one individual was holed up in a bodega with a long gun, sources say.
