"It's like when you see some discoloration on the wall or floor of a part of your house you don't frequent much, and you call in a specialist who looks at it and tells, "oh hey, that's dry rot. You need to get that taken care of." And so you have him examine things further and he discovers really extensive dry rot underneath the floor and then multiple rooms are involved and you suddenly realize that this rot has been spreading for years and you never knew, you never saw, you were blissfully unaware until you finally saw it when it was too late.

"The same thing has been going on with our education system. And that ignorant-by-design Vox writer, he's like when the rot suddenly becomes visible. We're shocked, and we think, holy crap, how can anyone be so ignorant, but this is not a hiccup or an anomaly. Years, decades, of deliberate, calculated ignorance have gone into this. It has been building up for years and is now bursting out of the walls. Because its swollen malignant magnitude has become so great, it can no longer be contained. You think the Vox guy is an idiot? Remember that guy from the Obama admin who says that the average journalist is 27 years old and they don't know anything? It's only going to get worse. Education is still being run by progressives and there's no end in sight. So the manufactured ignorance will continue unabated. We really have nothing at this point with which to stop the dry rot.
