Hillary Clinton: Running for President in 2020 is Not "Part of My Plans," But "Never Say Never" »

Former CNN/WaPo Schlump Howie Kurtz Attacks Mollie Hemingway for Committing Journalism
I'm sure he's just following the Bill Sammon NeverTrump liberal PC line on this, though.
Appearing on Fox News' The Daily Briefing, Monday afternoon, Kurtz told host Dana Perino that he didn’t think it was "the role of the media to disclose the identity of the whistleblower."
....
He went on to argue--without evidence--that there had been "no independent reporting that this is the guy, despite what some partisan sites are saying."
RCI however is part of the Real Clear Foundation, a nonpartisan 501(c3) news organization.
Howard Kurtz should have a word with Tom Bevan, who is at Real Clear Politics and also a FoxNews contributor frequently appearing on Special Report, about whether his organization is "partisan" and to be disqualified from any consideration by the liberal media (which includes the news division of Fox, including Howie Kurtz).
He should also talk to A.B. Stoddard, another former FoxNews contributor, who was also at Real Clear.
Deb Heine continues:
"Even if we did have independent reporting, I don't see why the media should be baited into naming somebody because I think it violates the spirit of the Whistleblower Protection Act,” Kurtz added.
But the Whistleblower Protection Act bars agency authorities from taking or threatening to take retaliatory action "against any employee or applicant because of disclosure of information by that employee or applicant." It does not bar the media from naming a "whistleblower" who makes allegations against a sitting president as Democrats ramp up impeachment efforts.
Here's what Mollie Heminway should do:
First, she should stop appearing on Howie Kurtz, period. Kurtz -- and many of the other Fox show hosts -- need Mollie Hemingway a lot more than they need her.
She should remind them of that.
Let them try to pull ratings with Special Guest Bari Weiss.
Second, she should start talking to One America News Network.
A lot of people would drop Fox like a bad habit if Mollie Hemingway joined them in a more extensive capacity. I would.
Meanwhile, a whistleblower complaint has been filed against the whistleblower, and against his lawyers (including Disney Princess Hotness Evaluator Mark Zaid), for raising money for their impeachment op on a GoFundMe and permitting foreign donations which would Interfere With the American Political Process.
A newly filed complaint to the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) alleges that the whistleblower whose allegations touched off House Democrats' impeachment inquiry may have violated federal law by indirectly soliciting more than a quarter-million dollars from mostly anonymous sources via a GoFundMe page.
The complaint, which was filed last week and obtained by Fox News, alleged the donations from roughly 6,000 individuals "clearly constitute" gifts to a current intelligence official that may be restricted because of the employee's official position pursuant to 5 CFR 2635.203 and other statutes. To date, the GoFundMe has raised over $227,000.
The complaint also raised the possibility that some of the donations may have come from prohibited sources, and asked the ICIG to look into whether any "foreign citizen or agent of a foreign government" contributed.
...
Fox News reported in September that the nonprofit Whistleblower Aid worked with the whistleblower's attorneys at the Compass Rose Legal Group to start the GoFundMe.
