Outrage! Academic Creates Fake Trans Persona, "Mx. Tippy Rampage," for Book/Stunt;
Trans Extremists Very Upset That She Was Merely Pretending to Pretend to be "Non-Binary" Instead of Honestly Pretending to be "Non-Binary"

Oh my goodness, if other people pull silly stunts like this, the public might start suspecting that Sudden Onset Dismorphia and that the constant invention of increasingly silly exotic sexualities are all just stunts by attention-whores and/or the delusions of the psychiatrically unwell!

Outrage after Goldsmith University academic claimed to be transgender for four years and asked students to call her 'Mx Tippy Rampage' before admitting it was a satirical character for a book

Goldsmith's Dawn Mellor invented the non-binary alter-ego Mx Tippy Rampage

The art tutor used the satirical character on social media for an academic study

An abstract to the study referred to the 'invented persona Mx Tippy Rampage'

Mellor was blasted by LGBT+ students for treating trans lives as a 'performance'

Awful lot of irony packed into those last few words.

Apparently Ms. (not Mx.) Mellor designed the persona to be "toxic and unpleasant" -- as a parody of the other social-media shut-ins and Twitter Disfunctionals she had interacted with.

And yet people are sad to see "Mx Tippy Rampage" unmasked as fake -- as if people really liked the cut this "toxic and unpleasant" weirdo's jib.

Mellor said the alter-ego was made up and evolved out of her experiences using social media.

'I was very suspicious of social media before I started using these accounts, due to these platforms contributing to the poor mental health of young people.

'Dawn Mellor was the echo-chamber character that emerged, who started as one person, then 'transformed' to Tippy Rampage,' she told Studio International.

Mellor acknowledged the character was unpleasant and misleading, adding: 'I understood it could be distressing and hurtful for others as both characters were extremely irritating.'

She said Mx Tippy Rampage eventually became a collective of 69 other people, but she was branded 'unethical' and 'shameful' when the multiple identities emerged.

...

Mellor, who is referred to in the 2017 interview as 'her/she', said the reason behind her study was to explore social media as an 'echo chamber'.

She said: 'I began to see how the accounts could become a site of discovery during my own attempts at resistance to this echo chamber.'

In related news: Woke white liberals like Elizabeth Warren love calling Hispanic people "Latinx," stripping the words "Latino" and "Latina" of their very problematic gendered endings.

You know who does not like the term "Latinx"? Actual Latinos.

It just might be that a culture which has grammatical gender as a fundamental element of their native (or cultural) language, and which, if you've ever noticed, seems to be pretty big on Traditional Gender Roles, is not too happy about being the first race to be officially androgenized by White Liberal Cultural Colonizers.

Over the past few months and years, several of our clients have noticed the term "Latinx" trending as a new ethnic label to describe Latinos. It has been used by academics, activists, and major companies, including NBC and Marvel [yay #Woke Marvel Comics!], as well as politicians like Senator Elizabeth Warren. We were curious about the appeal of "Latinx" among the country's 52 million people of Latin American ancestry and decided to test its popularity.

While my colleagues and I are progressive on social issues, as researchers, we have to put aside our personal biases and render advice based on the best available empirical evidence. To examine the acceptance of “Latinx” our firm conducted a nationwide poll of Latinos using a 508-person sample that is demographically representative of Census figures, yielding a ± 5% margin of error with a 95% confidence interval.

We presented our respondents with seven of the most common terms used to describe Latinos and asked them to select the one that best describes them. When it came to "Latinx," there was near unanimity. Despite its usage by academics and cultural influencers, 98% of Latinos prefer other terms to describe their ethnicity. Only 2% of our respondents said the label accurately describes them, making it the least popular ethnic label among Latinos.

Some have speculated that "Latinx" resonates with women and Latino youth. We found no evidence of this in our study. While Latinos' preferences for other labels vary by age, the limited appeal of "Latinx" is consistent across generations and genders. Only 3% of 18–34 year-old respondents in our poll selected the term as their preferred ethnic label. This was roughly the same as the 2% of 35–49 year-olds. No respondents over 50 selected the term. In other words, 97% of millennial and Gen-Z Latinos prefer to be called something other than "Latinx." Meanwhile, only 3% of women and 1% of men selected the term as their preferred ethnic identifier.

Wait -- Latin men, often thought to act with what the gender academics call "performative masculinity" -- and doesn't Spanish give us the very word machismo, by the way? -- are especially down on using a term for themselves that implies that they're either transsexual or androgynous?

Woah -- Mind. Blown.

Shouldn't #WokeWhiteLiberals bother asking the poor minorities they so gallantly fight for what words they wish to be called by before presuming to dictate to one of their Client Races what Colonizer Terminology has been assigned to them?

The poll found that Hispanics preferred to be called (get this) "Hispanic," followed by "Latin/Latino/Latina," followed by "Chicano," followed by being identified by their actual country of origin, followed closely by "Epstein did not kill himself."
