Fake Whistleblower's Lawyer in 2017: "The coup has started," Brags That Deep State Will Impeach Trump and His Friends at CNN Will Play a Key Role
Hmm, I wonder if this guy was talking to Tapper, Clapper, and Brennan.
Mark Zaid, one of the attorneys representing the whistleblower at the center of the Democrats' ongoing impeachment inquiry, tweeted conspicuously in January 2017 that a "coup has started" and that "impeachment will follow ultimately."
Then, in July 2017, Zaid remarked, "I predict @CNN will play a key role in @realDonaldTrump not finishing out his full term as president."
Amid a slew of impeachment-related posts, Zaid also assured his Twitter followers that "as one falls, two more will take their place," referring to outgoing Trump administration employees.
He means Deep State embeds being kicked out for subverting the duly-elected president and leaking national security information -- he's promising that for each one they find, two more will take their places.
The posts, which came shortly after President Trump fired then-acting Attorney General Sally Yates for failing to defend federal laws in court, are likely to fuel Republican concerns that the whistleblower's complaint is tainted with partisanship.
“The whistleblower’s lawyer gave away the game," the Trump campaign's communications director, Tim Murtaugh. told Fox News. "It was always the Democrats’ plan to stage a coup and impeach President Trump and all they ever needed was the right scheme. They whiffed on Mueller so now they’ve settled on the perfectly fine Ukraine phone call. This proves this was orchestrated from the beginning.”
Wait, this mug is a fan of the Tapper/Clapper collective and "Fusion Nat" Bertrand?! No way!!!
Meanwhile, FoxNews' NeverTrump management -- possibly at the behest of NeverTrumper establishment propagandist Bill Sammon -- has reportedly forbid anyone at the network from saying "Eric Ciaramella," the alleged whistleblower's name.
CNN Business states that while some Fox News personalities want to use the name reportedly linked to the "whistleblower" complaint, bosses have warned against the move. On October 31, an unnamed executive emailed staff that the network had not "independently confirmed [the] name or identification of the anonymous whistleblower" and advised to "NOT fulfill any video or graphic requests" in connection to the so-called "whistleblower's" identity, according to the report.
The demand from Fox News management to staff includes some of the network’s most-high profile personalities, including Sean Hannity. Jeanine Pirro, host of Justice with Judge Jeanine, suggested on Friday that hosts were to follow the guidelines, telling viewers that she and other employees "apparently can't say Ciaramella's name." On Monday, Hannity said he "confirmed independently" the so-called "whistleblower's" name, though he opted against revealing this name.
