It's Entertainment, Not Indoctrination: If I Want Your Opinion I Will Beat It Out Of You.

At some level our diversions also elevate us. Just think of great literature and art and music, and the very, very occasional movie for examples.

But the vast majority of those diversions are nothing more than time-fillers. Hey! it's raining! Let's watch a movie! Let's face it, most movies and TV and cable shows and music are the visual and auditory equivalent of scratching our balls.

And that's fine. There is absolutely nothing wrong with mindless entertainment, and would guess that one could make the argument that it is a healthy way to spend some of our time. Resting the brain, laughing with family...whatever.

And of course the pinch-faced scolds on the Left have set their sights on our simple pleasures, because that's just who they are. Nothing can be left as it once was. Nothing is out of bounds in their game of life.

Young Adults Fed Up with SJW and LGBTQ Tyranny

It was a pleasure to learned that young adults are fed up with SJW Hollywood writers and producers destroying their favorite movie franchises. The 2016 Ghostbusters movie bombed, losing $70 million, infected with woke. SJW has infected Star Wars and various superhero movies. Angry fans say, “Get woke, go broke!” Hollywood has declared that SJW, diversity and gender-swapping in movies is more important than entertaining stories.

Critics rave about movies that check all the right SJW boxes; praising homosexuality, feminism, and minorities while trashing straight white men. Meanwhile, fans avoid such movies in droves.

But I can't count the number of movies and shows I haven't watched because it was glaringly obvious that the purpose of their existence was not my entertainment but my indoctrination. But it is a very large number. That translates directly into money the studios and networks will never get, and that is as it should be!
