Fredo's Older Brother, Governor Fredo Due Cuomo: How Dare You Call My Brother Fredo "Fredo" and Slur All Italians With Your Racisty Racist Claim That All Italians are in the Mafia
So the Other Fredo is claiming like OG Fredo claimed, that calling an Italian "Fredo" is a slur on par with the n-word because... because obviously if you call someone "Fredo," you're saying he's the second eldest natural child of the fictitious Corleone crime family.
What a goombah.
From the New York Daily News:
"Italian Americans are not Mafia," [Governor Fredo] Cuomo told WAMC radio. "Don't you dare liken my family to the family you saw in The Godfather or the The Sopranos."
"Don't you dare?"
What, you gonna make us an offer we can't refuse, paesano?
You gonna send us a, como se dic' ?, Sicilian telegram of a fish on ice?
[Older Fredo] Cuomo said bigotry and slurs aimed at Italians [are] as dangerous as xenophobia and anti-Semitism, citing the mass shootings in El Paso and at a Pittsburgh synagogue last year.
Now the word "Fredo" might trigger an anti-Italian mass shooting?
Are you serious, Other Fredo?
"It's all ugliness," he said.
Along with "Fredo," which refers to a thick-headed character in the famed mafia flick, [Other Fredo] Cuomo railed against the use of other anti-Italian insults, like "wop" and "dago."
Calling your stupid runt brother a stupid runt is now the same as actual ethnic slurs?
Go get your ****ing shinebox.
Update: An actor from the Godfather, who played Connie's abusive, treacherous husband, says that Fredo Cuomo is an uomo d'mierde.
"I couldn’t understand, because he's such an intelligent kid, educated and everything else. I heard he's hurt his career," the 75-year-old actor told TMZ, adding that Cuomo’s father, the late ex-Gov. Mario Cuomo, "would smack him" if he heard the rant.
"All these news guys, they're so opinionated," Russo said. "It's not about what you think. And you’'e taking Fredo, a character from a classic? It’s like spitting on the Mona Lisa."
Fredo is intelligent?
You lost me from the beginning there, paesan.
Also -- CNN staffers "embarrassed" by the Fredo rant.
Thanks to Jane D'Oh.
